Took my kids skiing for the first time today. They all had an excellent time and so did I. My only “complaint” is that I was not able to buy a beer for the staff who gave my youngest a ride down the mountain when she was ready to be done. Big THANK YOU. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

滑道對新手並不友好，無論怎麼走，基本上都需要經過一段比較斜的滑道，對新手而言是地獄級難度。

不過如果是有一定的能力，那麽Kimberley 就是一個蠻不錯的雪場。

Northern Star Express直接把你帶到高點，大部份主要滑道都有2.4公里長，減少乘坐吊椅的時間。一天下來滑25公里很正常。

泊車位置離Northstar express 也超級近，這也是小山的優勢！

Not the most famous or the best powder but we always had fun in Kimberly. Great family resort to spend time with your loved ones during the snow season.

Una montaña para esquiar en familiar , buenas pistas , poca gente y buen servicio . Pocas colas en las sillas , buena señalización en las montañas , baños en puntos estratégicos y en el restaurante se come bien. . La gente ahí va a esquiar no a presumir, así que si te.gusta esquiar relajado este lugar está perfecto . Las vistas a las. Montañas es espectacular .

We had a wonderful family holiday in Kimberley. We were there for awhile (as it’s one of the more affordable ski spots in North America) so we rented skis boots and poles for the whole family through the WINGS leasing programme. You get the gear for the whole season. The staff at the Kimberley rental shop were fantastic - very knowledgeable and helped us out when we needed smaller boots or poles etc. The community-feel that everyone talks about at Kimberley is very real. We joined the NYE party in the square, had incredible instructors through the ski school, enjoyed an ice hockey match, caught the free shuttle to town for great dinners and craft beers, and generally felt like we got to see a slice of Canadian mountain life alongside many days exploring the mountain. The mountain was great for our beginner to intermediate skiing family. Some nice and easy greens and blues, ZERO queues and not too many people on the slopes. We got so much skiing in that we were enjoying some of the easier or groomed black runs by the end. An extra shout out to Daniel (rental shop), Freya and Noah (ski school) and all the Kimberley RCR crew for making it such a memorable week.

Just returned to Kimberly after a ski trip in Fernie and the difference between the two locations is great. OK on the third day in Fernie we had a dump of snow and it was good powder, and amazing. Hard to beat. Nevertheless, Fernie was much better prepared on the runs. And the variety of lower runs in Blue and Green allows for a fun day. While Kimberly has the long North Star quad chair lift, and the blues and a few greens are long and converge on the bridge to the start of the lift. So a real bottleneck. And after the bridge to run down to the lift is not green.. Once up the North Star you can move over to the backside, but they are not always well groomed runs. In fact I was on Vimy Ridge and the run surveyor was having a real argument on the phone with the director about opening runs. It would also be nice if somebody took a brush cutter to the pines growing on the runs.

The RCR staff at the locations seem to come from different planets, the Fernie staff are great friendly and helpful. And the ski patrol is on the ball. You can't say that of Kimberly at all. Except being for the cafe staff they are friendly..

Kimberly resort is a great family ski destination . Staff on the hill and in the facilities were helpful and friendly . The overall ski experience was great with a variety of runs for all types of skiers. I wound recommend the hill as a great destination resort for all my friends in the east .

I took a 2 hour lesson about a month ago with Maja. She was seriously amazing! I was a complete beginner when I arrived - I didn't even know how to take the skis apart from one another and put them on my feet. By the end of the lesson I was fairly comfortable in skiing down the mountain, in a pizza of course, but skiing nonetheless. I am so pumped that I finally know how to ski, and I appreciate Maja so much for her amazing tips and patience with me. I learned a lot from her and she was so fun! This hill was a great place to learn to ski. Really enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back!
