Easy online site to pick what I needed, but had to arrange for early/night before pickup of two canoes 🛶🛶 for my crew of four to leave sun up the next morning.

For a nominal fee the staff made this work for us on top of the reasonable canoe rental.👊

Eight lakes (Mississauga, Gold, Cold, Cox, Triangle, Cherry, Turtle -camped here🏕️, & Stoplog) visited with eight total portages in/out and happy to have two light weight/50 lbs. canoes to carry through the trails while carrying all our gear for four days.

Fantastic time had in the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park 🇨🇦 but shocked to see so many unused campsites which were all booked online...not cool!

Drop off was a breeze and the staff were very friendly, helpful and just made our adventure all worthwhile.

Would we rent here again...100% we would!

I bought a used Paluski Passage from these folks and had a very good experience. I was looking very specifically for this model with the third seat installed and Google connected me to their website.

I called because I had a few questions before purchasing and spoke with Jay and he was great. Answered all my questions and was very responsive coordinating a pick up time since I was driving 4 hours to get there.

Everything went so smooth and he even helped me load up the canoe and offered some tips to ensure it was secure for the drive.

Got a great product, for a great price, with great service. Highly recommend to all!

Excellent customer service, efficient & punctual. The canoe was in perfect condition, and the barrel was clean and well-equipped. They offer different options for different budgets. We started our trip on Canada Day, and they worked, giving their best service. I appreciate that. The person who answered the phone helped me prepare my order in advance, ensuring I had everything I needed. In addition, I appreciated their e-mail right before our trip offering extra services like maps and firewood.

My husband and I rent two kayaks a couple times a year. Kayaks and safety gear is always waiting for us when we arrive for pickup. We love the friendliness of the staff and also their great location. This ensure a quick drive so we can depart on some of the most beautiful lakes and rivers in the area. Can’t wait to do it again.

We've rented 3 seater kevlar canoe for a trip to the Kawartha Highlands and everything was great. I've had my own car mounting kit and lifejackets, but I think they will provide it if you need. Check out was easy and quick, prices are better comparing to another place we rented from before, canoe and paddles we've got were new and in a good condition.

They also sell Unlostify canoeing maps in their store, and those are great for planning your trip.

Bij reservering gevraagde prijs NIET nagekomen. Moesten ondanks eerdere ontkenning alsnog 4 suites afrekenen voor vaartocht. Aardige versnellingen maar een paar keer dezelfde versnelling op een andere wijze

We decided to rent a seadoo and a pontoon boat from Kawartha, Bailey the person taking the orders and details was very polite every time we spoke with her. But her coworker Jay (the owner apparently) was extremely rude both times we spoke with him. First time just to follow up regarding delivery time, the second call was to inquiry why they charged us an additional fee after the rental was over. I made sure to fill the gas tanks to full on the gauges of both boats, I had a spare gas can with me at the time of pick up, their driver assured me the tanks were full and I was good to go. My wife and I called to inquire about the extra charge with Bailey, Jay came on the phone, continued to talk over us, told us they would record our names for future "Ban" list and that Jay would be contacting all other rental businesses to "Ban" us as well. Also be prepared that they take the full payment and security deposit the day before you actually get the rental.

Always a great experience with Kawartha Adventure Rentals. Rental booking online is very easy and detailed description of equipment. Staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. Have been going there multiple times and will continue to rent from them for my back country trips into the highlands.
