I waited over a year to post this, because i wanted to be very sure. But i had a LQ4 i brought to have decked, bored .030 over and honed along with a rotating assembly to balance. Price was very reasonable, but it did take a very long time to get the block back due to the backlog. I can forgive all this, since the engine was a distant part of my build. I got a call when my block was up for work and was told since i am running studs, the mains should be line honed due to the different clamping loads. Something i completely overlooked but Keith saved me on that one, and he got that knocked out for me basically the same day. I got the block back and i went to town measuring absolutely everything. I am extremely impressed, everything i can measure with dial bore guages and micrometers came up bang on. that includes when i torqued my heads down, flipped the block upside down and measured the cylinders for out of round. very impressive. I am not a trusting guy by nature, but being able to verify the work has earned my trust for future builds. K&S came recommended to me by others so i am doing the same for anyone reading this. Its well worth the wait.

My '07 C6 Z06 suffered the infamous valve drop which grenaded the engine. Blown piston wall and cracked sleeve. A different shop told me the engine was non repairable, I was heart broken. Long story short Keith was able to put his skills to the test and brought it back to life. I am forever grateful. 🙏

The customer service at this shop is top notch. Keith and the shop employees are evidently knowledgeable and experienced with assembling and machining performance motors.

I had a great experience with Keith and his crew. We rebuilt an sbc 350 that had a wiped out cam lobe. He kept me in loop throughout the build. I came to visit a couple times while we made decisions on which direction we wanted to go. In the end we built more power than expected when we flogged in on the dyno and its expected to make more when its tuned just right. Keith does fantastic work, is an encyclopedia of engine knowledge and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning with another one some day.
