Animal Justice has released a disturbing video on the reality that is Johnstones pig-processing plant. They pride themselves on the care, claiming it’s extremely important and everything they do is a “humane handling practice”. Video states otherwise.
They have yet to make a remark on these allegations. One of the many places you can find this video is Chilliwack Progress Website

I have been buying their Sausage Sticks for years from the Cold beer and wine store. When they owned the Hotel Etc. The crap that I'm getting from the new liquor store is absolute garbage. Same name.. Not same quality.

Low quality at a high price. Didn't know what products where what. The place is a mess. The employees are treated badly. Shop around, and you will find better quality products at a much more reasonable price. The other ratings on here are fake profiles to cover up the bad reviews, if you go on the profiles you will see that they only rated this place. The animals are treated badly, and they even process the dead ones. In my opinion, shop around.

I've had nothing but amazing products from Johnston's. They are very friendly on the phone and always go above and beyond for their customers. They have the best bacon and smokies you can find. Love the motto "Fresh, Local, Quality". They really do embody that statement. 😁
