Modern, Cozy and Classy! John’s is most def the best clothing store Barrhead offers. The merchandise is hand picked by a trend setter for sure. It is pricey but the pieces are unique and more along the lines of one of a kind rather than the thing that every department store offers.

Inside the ambience is fresh, lighting is calming and the tones keep the peace when shopping as it can be stressful to shop. The sign behind the till is my favourite part. It looks so good in there now!!!

This business ought to be recognized by Barrhead as forward in trend setting and keeping the small town ahead of the times.

Great little shop. Nice selection of quality brands. I frequent this boutique when I am in town. I like to support small town businesses.
Z Supply is also a fav brand of mine, so I’ll always buy it wherever I find it.

Not sure what’s up with the sales woman! She sat on her chair saying nothing to us once she put a few items in a change room she made her way to her perch and watched us. She didn’t once check to see if we needed sizes or offer to clear out our no piles.
Then after purchasing $500 of clothing she didn’t even say “thanks”! Or “have a nice day” or “thanks for your business” or “bye” or “come again” or… anything!! Nothing!!! Just handed me the bag and walked away!!!

It was… weird. shocking actually. I laughed out loud it was so weird. Was I being punked?!
Never have I ever encountered that from an adult in sales! A teenager maybe but she was definitely an adult!

I will come back again, and when I do, I hope there is a different attitude towards customers.

To be candid, I'm writing this solely to be a character witness. I met the owner by chance in a random city in a place that was not your typical meet and greet type location. I approached him asking about a product he was holding. He gave me so much info, I had to learn more. Learned he owns this. How cool.
Point: He took personal time (considering his job type) to talk about a product that wasnt his. He made effort and was kind and for that reason I think he should be recognized. I will travel to support your business.

Great selection of men's and women's apparel. They even have a decent selection for larger sizes, which was nice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being to clingy like in some clothing stores. A truly welcome experience

Wow, what a really cool history this store has. I sure hope Barrhead continues to keep this gem of a store in business. We drove out from Stony Plain to extend some love to another Alberta Town, and the owner and daughter duo are the nicest people. While in a historic building they are doing renos and the place looks great! We all got something, from shoes to a dress, to a cami, men’s underwear, and hat. Love that they ship Canada wide. They have brand name clothing at prices less than many Edmonton stores. We definitely recommend stopping in or checking out their website! Great Instagram too!

Terrible place for jeans bought a brand new pair of jeans for 100$ and it was already ripped would not do a return even tho I had my receipt and it’s only been 5 hours until I noticed the rips make sure to check clothing before buying
