This is such a hidden gem in Burlington! I have visited about 4-5 times and have ordered a variety of their soups from their hot table. Every single time the food is hot and fresh. The staff works very fast to give you your food as well, I have never waited long. The food is always very flavourful and spicy it’s addicting. I would say the portion is very good. The amount of soup and fufu they give is quite generous. Thank you Joe’s African & Caribbean Market for helping me fall in love with West African Cuisine. I’ve tried the Efo-Riro, Okra soup and now I’m having the palm butter soup with pounded yam. I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves.

Great store, friendly staff, and a nice selection of products.

To everyone complaining about prices - they're importing a ton of authentic Afro-Carribean products you just can't find a replacement for in Canada. Prices are going to be higher due to needing to source these products. They're not a giant retailer like Walmart, cut them some slack and support local businesses!

Their hot table is pretty decent too if you need a bite to eat.

I am very pleased with the excellent customer services that I get from everyone at Joe's African & Caribbean Market. The store is always very clean and organized at all time. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and pleasant. Their new location is easily acesssible, lots of free parking . I wish them all the very best in their new location. God Bless.

Pretty good place for limited Caribbean food. Chutney, many various hot sauces, frozen patties, bottled/canned drinks, etc. Also saw but did not try frozen snapper, king fish, and other fish + packaged Easter bun. Only place like it in town as far as I know.

I could hear how busy the store is from the noise in the background; the young lady was very courteous and checked for me! Thank you!!! Basic things like maize flour is over priced by $10 compared to Freshco for same brand, it's appalling. Outright theft. Better of getting stuff elsewhere.
