Nice shop and friendly staff. Unfortunately there were no fabrics for sale. On the website there are photo’s that indicated that they still sell fabrics. Maybe you can update your site.

It was time to upgrade my sewing machine. really wanted to support local rather than a big box store. I’m so happy I did! Really nice atmosphere and everyone was so patient with all me questions and resulted in my purchasing a machine that is much better suited to my needs and will grow with me. The follow up support is great too! Highly recommend Island Sewing. Looking forward to the classes.

If you are looking for a truly remarkable shopping experience, look no further. My first order arrived two days earlier than Canada Post tracking indicated, it was securely and beautifully packaged, there was the sweetest surprise gift stapled to my receipt. The best part was there was an actual thank you for your business sticker on the front of the package. A lot of thought was put into the customer experience. Exceptional customer service...Thank you!

Went in to inquire about purchasing a machine a few months back, was astounded at the rude customer service. Woman behind the counter couldn't bother to help us or answer our questions, and the gentleman who came from the back told me to 'go buy a cheap machine from Walmart' and just about chased us out of the store citing it 'wouldn't be worth it' for me to purchase a machine. Being new and enthusiastic to learn I was a little devastated, and needless to say I won't be back and won't be recommending.

I was looking to order a specific machine, and the employee I talked to told me they had a floor model. I ordered the machine online using my husband's card and accidentally used my name instead of the name on the card. The payment went through. Understandably, they wanted to verify that the purchase wasn't fraudulent. Instead of offering for me to pay a different way or resubmit the order, they insisted I send photographic proof of my name and address, which I do not have. Finally we came to the compromise of sending an EMT. I couldn't send that until the money from the original purchase was refunded which took 4 days. I finally sent the EMT asking to have the machine shipped ASAP since I had been set back a week. Then I get an email saying that after checking with their warehouse, they don't even have the machine! Doesn't a floor model mean that it's on the floor I paid for a machine TWICE that they don't even have. And they called me a fraud?

I was tagging along with my mom when she went in and the ladies there were great at answering her questions. There were fancy machines set up amd turned on so you could look at the fancy computer screens on them. And when I went there were also two cute, cuddly, small white dogs there which was a bonus.
