I ordered and paid a deposit on kitchen appliance handles and live-edge floating shelves in 2023. It is now the end of July in 2024 and I still have not received the shelves. I have been reaching out since May 2024 trying to at least get the store or the owner to set an installation date and I continue to get one word replies. At this point I would just like my money back and go somewhere else as it is massively holding up the construction of my home and kitchen.

This has been one of the worst experiences since building our home and that's saying a lot with the state of contractors these days.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy anything custom from this company. They continue to post on their Facebook page daily trying to gain more business when they cannot even fulfill current orders over 1 year old.

I needed a Christmas present custom made last minute and so I emailed Ryan to see if it was even a possibility. He said he could get it done so I emailed him the info that he needed. I figured for something like this he would need a deposit or even the balance paid but he didn't. It was ready before Christmas and his staff even gift wrapped it. It was perfect!! The custom item looked fabulous and the gift was an absolute hit. I'm looking forward to having more items created in the near future!! Excellent experience!

Terrible experience. Owner Ryan confirmed he could make a charcuterie board engraved with the names and date of the wedding and epoxy a sentimental item on it for my daughter’s wedding. It was paid for in Nov 2022 and after numerous calls and emails and being very patient with all the excuses about delays I worried Branched Out had gone under as they were not responding to vm or emails. I was assured by other business owners they were still in operation so drove from Orillia to Parry Sound and when went to his shop to confront him in person he would not apologize or make eye contact but promised the board would be done by June 17th 2023. Drove up June 17 th The Flag was done but flawed and no engraving which I had paid for already so left the board with his son who assured me he would get his Dad to have it done by July 10th. Again went to Parry Sound and no board at shop or workshop and of course Ryan would not answer calls from his staff. I had said if not done by July 10th would need a full refund. The lady at the store wasn’t sure about the refund policy and unable to refund my card but after hearing my story about it being a meaningful wedding gift and all the run around I had gotten, she finally got hold of Melissa and got permission to refund me the money but she did not have enough cash. She was the only caring person I met at this store and was kind enough to go and withdraw from her own account so that I could hopefully have time to find another place who could help me out. I can only hope she got her money back from Ryan. The wedding is only a month away. Needless to say no respect for the business or owners and would never recommend them. Although their merchandise is beautiful they are not reliable and do not recommend you give them any money until it is in your hands.

Ryan (the owner) did a very nice job on a massive project for us at our condo here in town! Very large windswept pine and lettering. All turned out very crisp and neat looking and he was very easy to deal with! Highly recommend and only store like it around!! ?

The sign is beautiful and exactly what I ordered. I ordered on a Saturday night and received the sign 2 weeks later. The only complaint I have is the lack of communication. I received word that the order was received but heard nothing else. An email should be sent out when the item is shipped. But the workmanship is excellent and I would definitely recommend them to other people because of the quality and appearance of the sign that I purchased.

I had the worst experience ever and I would not trust the owner or his staff. I received a gift certificate as I wanted a charcuterie board with blue epoxy. I started correspondence in February via FB messenger as those were the instructions on the door of his business during COVID. I specifically requested a charcuterie board with epoxy, a live edge and black handles. I even sent a picture for his perusal. Over the next 4 months it was one story after another as to why it was not done (I live 5 hrs north of Parry Sound).
In May I went to the store twice and spoke to female staff and she took notes of what I wanted and said she would give to owner. Finally after I inquired yet again on June 13, he sent me a photo of 3 different boards to chose from. None had handles or a live edge. The owner and his staff continued to tell lies and make excuses despite a lengthy thread of communication to prove them I was specific about my order. We never discussed the price because I was willing to pay what it would cost.
The poor customer service and lack of integrity is enough for me to to never do business there again nor will I recommend to my friends, family or colleagues.

I am elated ! Not only did this business help us by creating one-of-a-kind decorations, including a cake topper, for a rustic, beautiful backyard wedding - but they did it quickly, beautifully and for a very reasonable price 🙂 I have been very happy with each interaction I have had with both staff and owner ? Then, to top it off, they came to the rescue and corrected a printing error that an online company had made on the wedding guest take-aways, making it perfect and did it in just a couple of days, melting away so much stress! This place is a treasure in our town and I will continue purchasing/ordering beautiful, unique gifts for myself and others! Well Done #IBRANCHEDOUT ❣
