A Local Gem for Decades
I’ve been visiting Hunter’s Store for over 30 years, and it’s still one of my favorite stops. Whether it’s for fuel or a quick snack, they’ve always had a great selection and friendly service. It’s more than just a gas station—it’s a reliable part of the community that’s stood the test of time. Grateful it’s still going strong!

During today's visit to this gas station, I was met with an unpleasant surprise when I was told that the person who operates the propane gas has left and the rest of the employees cannot give me propane. They told me, wait, he be back in five minutes. After twenty minutes, no one showed up and I was told to come next time. Absolutely inexcusable what they do to the customer at this gas station.

Without a doubt always the highest prices for all gas in Vernon and Kelowna are. Avoid this stations because the workers are rude and they if to rip you off at the pump and in the store. I wanted a 500 ml bottle of coke and it rang up as $5.90 for a single bottle. At least 5 cents higher than anywhere else in Vernon

I stopped in for a snack about a year ago and ended up with a way over-priced sandwich that was too gross to eat. I made the mistake of going in again today (04/27/24 @ 4pm) for lotto and the clerk not only couldn't understand me, but he was unable to speak properly- he spoke very quietly, mumbled & barely opened up his mouth to form words. I don't understand why people choose to work with the public when they have so much trouble speaking. I didn't end up with the lotto I wanted, super frustrating. I'll never be back.

Good convenience store in the neighborhood. The closing hours are inconsistent with what is shown online. Not all days are open until 11. There have been a few times where I am out shortly after 10pm and it is already closed for the night. I wish it was more consistent.

It tends to be a little bit more pricey than other convenience stores. A bag of chips will run you about $6 while other convenience stores tend to be around $5.50. Candy, a soda, and a bag of chips will cost you $18 total.

Staff is always super friendly. The aisles are always clean.

Great, convenient corner store for gas, propane, and quick shopping. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I have been stopping in here for years and have never been disappointed.

Very disappointed in the girls talking loudly and giggling like 12 year olds not speaking English….. yelling across the store in a language no one understands but them. It is very disrespectful. They are not helpful and very rude. I only go in the store when they are not there. There are very nice employees (a older English speaking lady) who is helpful and friendly.

our favourite neighbourhood corner store for going on 3 decades. have everything from fuel, propane, lotto, slushies, ice cream, water dispenser, fire wood, 5 cent candy, etc. Hunter’s staff are always helpful, friendly and respectful to anyone that walks in (including our tweenage children).
