Highly recommend Hi-Tech! I work at a small church and we were having a terrible time with Ricoh, which was charging us a lot for a copier that didn't work. We decided to go local and switched to Hi Tech and they have helped us so much since then. They even came by the same day with a toner cartridge, just in case ours runs out while we carry out a major print job for a large funeral. As a relative new customer of Hi-Tech (story below), I have been nothing short of blown away by every person and interaction I have had with them. Friendly, kind, helpful, responsible, empathetic and eager would be some of the superlatives I would use to describe the team and management there.

Here's the story. I was hired to be the Director of Information Systems for the Pomeroy Hotel group a year ago and one of the mandates was to assess the quality of service we receive from them. Hitech has been supporting the Pomeroy group for many years and management wanted a "fresh set of eyes" to review the situation.

I am a firm believer in allowing actions speak for themselves and meeting people in person to see the whites of their eyes and their body language. Great service and support don't materialize out of the blue, it comes from a good work ethic and a strong service mindset that must be initiated at the top, because these traits always flow down, never up. Since our first meetings I can honestly say that I have utmost respect for every single member of their teams, and this speaks to ownership directly.

I want to highlight one area (of many) that stand out for me. In this day and age, cyber security is of the highest importance to not only individuals but small and large companies, and another priority of mine was to assess what they had done, and what recommendations they may have for the future. The Hi-Tech network and security team have done a stellar job in implementing well thought out solutions, and their suggestions for how to improve our security posture are exactly in line with my experience and recommendations.
Needless to say, a match made in heaven.

Very disappointed with service. Phoned about getting a Brother printer repaired and was told they could fix it. Got a phone call from the tech after I dropped it off who wasn't 100% sure what was wrong with it and that they didn't have a supplier for Brother parts. Told bring it in, then once they have it tell me they can't get parts even if they knew what was wrong and charged me $200. Waste of my time and money.

My retail store was previously set up with Moneris. I had no issues however after reviewing my business expenses I was inspired to look for better rates and save my business funds. Melanie with HiTech was able to save my business over $200 a month on FEES. Setting up my online portal was extremely simple and their tech guy, Jason was very prompt & quick to answer any questions. The set up took less than 30 minutes and the transition was simple. I wish I made the switch sooner but so glad to have this service! I have a beautiful wireless terminal that looks great in my boutique and I no longer have big ugly bulk cords everywhere.
