Just finished the beginner weaving class and WOW! Best, most worth it class I've been to in a long time. I have an old table loom that's been sitting in my basement waiting for me to figure it out when I realized I wouldn't be able to without in person help I just squeezed in to the Beginner weaving class before summer, I am so glad I did! I learned all the things I needed to be able to get started on my loom, and so much more that I can't wait to get started. I even joined the guild, after the class I was fully convinced that membership is well worth the price. If you want to get started weaving or spinning but don't have a loom or wheel, paying the membership fee and taking a class is the most economical way to get started, once you join you are able to rent equipment for a low price, lower than the cost of buying your own loom or spinning wheel, or you can go into the studio and book and use equipment for free! They also have a huge library of books that are virtually impossible to find online or in libraries, these area wealth of knowledge in addition to the decades of experience the members have to offer. In conclusion, great place, highly recommend and my weaving class teacher Tracy was wonderful, can't wait to take the next level class in the fall!
