Thumbs up to Heli Cool..good job.I am very happy with all my new equipment. I contracted Heli Cool to replace my aging furnace, also my A/C unit with a heat pump and, the hot water tank with a tankless water heater. All high efficiency. My interactions with Heli Cool were great, professional, courteous and on time. My phone calls and numerous questions were answered in a timely manner. The install was two months ago, it took two days to complete, as expected. It was a big job and the finished work was high quality. I have had no issues or problems with any of it. I will be watching my homes energy bills over the next year, I expect the cost to be noticeably lower with this more efficient equipment installed. I would recommend this company for any HVAC work you might require.
Note: With the Federal and Provincial rebate programs that are available, the price of this project was not to bad considering all the work that was done. In my case with the equipment I had installed, about one third of the total cost was covered with the rebates. Contact Heli Cool for details about the rebates that are available.

Five star all the way around. We had Jeremiah and one of his employees, I forget his name and I feel bad about that. Perhaps it was Riley? Anyway, we had them install a combination boiler/on demand system last winter, they worked for two full days, they were tidy and respectful and didn’t price gouge like another company out of Cranbrook. Professional and courteous. And patient with our 3 year old Border Collie who kept running off with their tools . 100% recommend. Good job. Thank you!

This company is unreasonable and price gouges. The toilet in my rental property was plugged and the guy they sent was there a total of 5 minutes (I could see when he entered and left on my smart lock). They charged me $262 for a job that took 5 minutes, this included labor, a vehicle charge, and an equipment fee.) My property is located 5 min from their office.

Had a new furnace and heat pump installed. I have asked repeatedly about a burning smell that occurs every morning when the furnace kicks in. Also asked about the position of the refrigerant line as you cannot view the top coil. NO Answers, NO Solutions. There is Nothing Cool about Heli Cool.
RESPONSE
Several visits, does that mean 3? Should the first one count as I got the "I'll be in touch".
Jonathan you have no sense of smell, you told me that yourself.
Not once did you or Jeremiah inspect the furnace or heat pump. NO answer if the refrigerant line is in the right place.
I have lived in several houses and never had this burning smell issue when a heating system was replaced. There has to be a solution.

Heli Cool recently came to my house to diagnose an issue with my furnace after it stopped working suddenly. I called them Monday afternoon, and they set up an appointment for Tuesday morning. The furnace was fixed within an hour. I was billed within an hour of work completion. In summary, they were professional, efficient and affordable. It was the best experience I've had with an HVAC company in the Elk Valley. I would recommend them to anyone.
