Do not got shop here the owner of this shop has no customer service skills and is terribly rude.

I was recently at the shop looking for simple assistance how to thread my Singer Machine and the shop owner refused to assist with something so simple. I even offered to pay for the assistance and they refused. I am a repeat customer I had recently purchased a machine there is Nov, and the machine i needed assistance with was previously serviced there and i have receipts to provide it.

Just went into this location for my first time. Couldn’t believe I have not gone before in my 39yrs of living in Dundas.
I went in for thread and the woman was more than helpful to point me in the right direction for the correct thread and then finding me a foot for my sewing machine that is going to help me with future projects. Definitely will be back as I appreciate how close to home it is and all the resources they provide.

So far I have purchased 2 sewing machines and 2 embroidery machines from Hamilton Sewing. Recently I made the mistake of purchasing a sewing machine from another company with the promise of yes it will stitch through 5 layers of denim no problem.. wrong it would not And I was wrong for listening. Back to Hamilton Sewing where I know the information I receive will be correct. My machines were purchased and are serviced there and I will never go anywhere else..

I use my machine (Husqvarna Jade) almost every day. When it stopped sewing properly I googled where to take it for repair. I dropped it off, was given a quote for repair and tune up (I was admittedly behind in the regular maintenance) and just over 2 weeks later my machine was ready as promised. The price was as quoted. It sews like new. Amazing. I am very happy with the results.

Just purchased a baby lock serger.. I call it my lamborghini! Amazing machine.... the owners are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.. Would highly recommend.

Wow, extremely rude person in store, I am astonished at how they can be in business with such an attitude problem. I went in to ask about repair and she didn’t even want to hear anything about the issue and just threw out a random outrageous price so that I would just leave. Any other person would have asked me details, and suggested I bring it in to take a look, showing basic customer service skills, but that was asking too much of her as she just wanted me to leave. It was not like I went in right at closing and they are trying to close, it was midday, during their business hours! Just awful!

I bought my first ever sewing machine from Michele at Hamilton Sewing (Babylock Katherine) approximately a year ago, and I participated in the associated workshops to get to know my new machine. I had initially been looking at a store on Ottawa Street, but I'm so glad I decided to check out Hamilton Sewing. I would have bought the wrong machine. Michele is amazing to deal with. She knows what she is talking about, she is honest, and she is kind. I have returned to purchase various sewing accessories from her, and will definitely buy my next machine from her. My mother purchased a Serger from Michele several years ago, but hadn't taken the machine out of the box. Michele encouraged her to come in and participate in a course so she could learn her machine all these years later. I made a mistake as a beginner and needed a repair for my Babylock machine the first time I used it - I think I changed the needle incorrectly. Michele didn't even charge me for the repair since I was just learning. I highly recommend this shop. When you meet someone you can trust you stick with them.
