Always listen to the locals. Was going to buy some beef jerky and peperoni sticks for the road at a gas station. A local stopped me, then brought me here. Snack heaven. I would move to Cold Lake just for this store. Their product has actually been consumed in space.

First time shopping here but did hear about it from a coworker, great meat selection and I tried the bologna and it was a great choice, only problem is that it's 4 hours away from Fort McMurray, lol. I will hopefully get some Moose meat bologna made in the new year 🙏

Hi this is Rick Johnson, Tania's husband. I just got my second order from Hamel's Meat Market.
This is hands down the best jerky this 74 year old has ever experienced.
The pleasant people I talk to when I phone are bar none the best and friendliest ever..
I totally love their jerky and will never buy jerky anywhere else. All I can say is that it is very delicious 😋 and the packaging is the best.

Disappointed in the ham sausage, checked the ingredients soy was added.Tasted fatty, bland just not right.We ended up tossing the last of it as no one enjoyed it. Wish the quality of your products was up to what it was before you changed owners. Feel like profit may be more important than quality in many of the products now.

Beef jerky here is outstanding! It’s not cheap, however, it’s way worth it! We were so excited to stop here on our way through the town, and we were not disappointed one bit. It’s very tender, and to die for taste wise. The pepperoni sticks were very delicious too. I wish they were open on Sunday’s so we could have bought more on our way home.

My husband brought a large order home about six months ago from Bonnyville and let me just say, the best quality meats I have ever had! I went in yesterday to re stock the freezer and I will never buy from the grocery store again. Not only is their staff helpful and friendly, but their selection is huge and their prices are unbeatable! I will be going back every time I need meat! I'm very happy with my purchase!

Love this place!! Always friendly, helpful staff and yummy cuts of steak. Beef jerky is absolutely amazing. And kubi burgers are delicious
