WOW!!!
Quel endroit extraordinaire. Nous avions la "chambre" 4. C'est plus un appartement qu'une chambre. Il y a un salon avec frigo, micro-ondes, télé, internet, chambre de bain avec douche et une grande chambre. Pleins de garde-robes pour ranger vos affaires.
La chambre est au deuxième étage et est munie d'un balcon. Il y a une belle vue sur la baie.
Vous pouvez faire une randonnée sur le sentier autour du gîte. Vous avez le choix entre quelques déjeuner. Je vous dit que vous devez avoir faim pour passer à travers. Ils sont délicieux.
Je termine en disant que Gary est un hôte exceptionnel qui fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez-vous.

Magnifique vue sur la mer. Petit trail privé de 2km.
Accueil très attentif, très bon petits-déjeuners.
Dîner possible sur place, poissons très frais !

Enjoyed a wonderful family dinner at the beautiful Freshwater Cafe. The Cafe was wheelchair accessible and happily filled our hungry bellies with delicious homemade meals. The service we were given was amazingly friendly. Thank you so much. We’ll see you again!

Lovely restful spot to stay on our drive back home from St. Pierre. Easy find just 5 minutes off the highway. We were met by our host and served a very delicious meal in their onsite restaurant . The best of our whole trip. Had a wonderful quiet rest and a beautiful breakfast. So glad I found this gem .

The Freshwater Inn was a perfect stop on our journey across Newfoundland. We arrived late and were welcomed to our room by staff. The room was well kept and clean. Breakfast the next morning was terrific and we got some tremendous advice on our day's travels that changed our plans for the better and got a travel book and map to help. Unfortunately some rain made it impossible to enjoy the lawn and ocean view but it looked lovely.

This was a beautiful place. A little out of the way, but definitely worth it. The staff and owner were very friendly and caring. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. Only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning, but the windows and fans in the room cooled it off nicely for sleeping.

Spacious, comfortable room in a beautiful setting on the water. Our host, Gary, was very welcoming and helpful, seeking us out to talk about the area and share information while referencing and then sharing a map.

The restaurant menu was VERY extensive and reasonably priced - Gary needs to get this out on the internet better as we would have brought an appetite to match if we were aware!

What a wonderful experience!! The Captain’s room #4 is the entire upper floor of the main building. It had a living room space with small fridge, Keurig, sofa, and small balcony to sit out on. The bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated. The place is immaculately clean and well appointed. On site is their quaint cafe with local driftwood craft art work. The room rental includes a generous breakfast ordered off the menu. We highly recommend eating dinner there as well. The owner Gary’s often supplies the kitchen with cod caught that very morning: awesome and delicious. |Gary is a font of knowledge, warm and welcoming. His entire staff bends over to cater to your every need. We highly recommend staying here!!
