I recently moved Wasaga Beach and had no idea where to go to get my husband's pants hemmed, so we googled on where to go in town. Fran's popped up right away and not too far from where we lived. So we called her up and made arrangements to go over. She welcomed us into her home and took us to her shop area. We discussed what we wanted done, took measurements, and we left on our way. Her turn around time was amazing. The quality and detail of work was absolutely perfect. The pricing is very reasonable and Fran herself is totally amazing. I am so glad we went to her. Thank you google. I would highly recommend Fran to anyone that needs any hemming or sewing done, you won't be disappointed.

Although I have been seeing Fran for her services for years, I struggled with whether I should write this review. Her work is good and her prices are good. I am writing this review because this is the second time this has happened to us after visiting her business. I am talking about her passing on severe illnesses to us. The first time she did this, I let it go. Approximately 11 days ago days ago, I went to her establishment to pick up some Sewing. After being there for five minutes, she informed us that she’s sick as a dog. My mind sort of raced and I thought oh we’re gonna get sick now. So here’s how serious this is, My teen daughter who was with me after two days of visiting her, became ill. Very quickly and severely. In eight days, the only thing she’s eaten are popsicles and soup. I have had to call an ambulance, have had three doctor’s appointments and 2 trips to the emergency room in 8 days. She literally could not breathe even on prescribed meds. It is terrifying and stressful for her. I phoned Fran and I told her how inconsiderate and unprofessional she was to not give us a heads up that she was this ill or reschedule our pick up.. My daughter is on five different medications right now from this illness. I am beyond furious with this woman as this all could’ve been avoided - had she been the least bit considerate of other people and not infecting other people. My daughter has suffered immensely for over a week because of her. This is the only place my daughter had gone in that time period to have picked up this. Honestly I’m very disappointed in her and I feel this is very serious to not speak up.

Your response is disappointing. I feel like you are trying to blame us for getting sick bc we came to your house oblivious you were infectious. This is just not a runny nose here. It’s an ambulance call, two ER visits, three doctor’s appointments and five medications in 9 days. There is NO mention of mandatory masks wearing at your business on your FB profile, or google business page. I have screenshots of both. You have never verbally expressed this either, no signage at your business. It is your responsibility as the business owner to inform clients of this not the other way around. I absolutely would not show up to a business sick as a dog. If this were actually true and mask wearing is your policy as you say- bc of your health issues not sure why you weren’t wearing one

We had 3 pairs of pants hemmed at Fran's Sewing and are so pleased with her professional work. Fran is so nice to deal with and so friendly. We will definitely keep her in mind for future alterations.

I called Fran and she was able to see me the same day. I brought a bridesmaids dress in to shorten the straps and to bring it in about an inch on both sides. My alterations were done very quickly (less than a week) and great quality. She was very kind and approachable. I haven't had much alterations done before, but her prices are very fair. I would go back if I need something else sewn.

Fran has done a lot of work for my wife some of which were my dress pants and making new patio cushions. All the work has been great and looks great
a lot of people ask us about her services and are happy with the fact she will make up new patio cushions. My wife finds the exact fabric she wants and brings it all to Fran. Our family has been very happy with her work, pricing. A+

Fran helped me out with a bridesmaid dress that I needed altered fairly quickly for an upcoming wedding. I highly recommend her services! She is extremely efficient and reasonably priced, and so friendly. I will definitely be using her for all future sewing needs.
