Fortin's is usually my go-to place for parts, hardware, and machining. I prefer to give my business to locals, and Jeff had always been a pleasant guy to buy from and work for. However, with the engine shop gone, I guess I have to find somewhere else. I'm going to miss Fortin's Engines.

I came in to get some stuff for an oil change. Asked where their 5L of 10-40 were, they said they didn’t have any because it’s not common. I ended up finding it myself. When I got to the counter and told him what truck I was working on and he asked if I was having timing chain issues, a question which is almost always a way of people making fun of the engine in my ford and nothing to do with what I was there for. As I was leaving the counter he turned to his friend and they started laughing at me. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a girl or I own a ford or if they are just terrible to everyone but definitely didn’t need that on top of having problems with a truck that I’ve poured so much work into.

Norm is outstanding..... he really went above and beyond to make sure my engine was rebuilt to my utmost satisfaction. Going in I had a tight budget due to some unfortunate circumstances, but he was willing to work with me to make sure I got back on the road. Excellent customer Service and professionalism, Highly recommended if you want things done right the first time! this is the place you need to go!
