I needed some piping installed down the legs of my son’s baseball pants (pants with piping are typically special order and we had a bunch of regular sets just languishing in the drawer that couldn’t be used). Sukhi did a great job on the pants, they were done quickly and the cost was relatively inexpensive… will definitely use again for any tailoring needs!

I was looking for someone to do minor alterations on my daughter’s graduation dress. I had gotten two quotes here in West Kelowna, where we live for her alterations one place was $170 and the other was $200. The only problem was there was no guarantee they could be done by the middle of May as they were so busy so seeing how I’m in Penticton often I thought I would look for a seamstress there found fix and fit called talked to Suki. She said doing the alterations were no problem. First dress fitting went well. Talked about her going to see her granddaughter for Easter.. seemed friendly and nice. Second and third, which was the last fitting she decided to show us how unprofessional and disgusting she was talking about how she got drunk the night before on vodka fell down and hurt her leg and was very hung over. Then proceeded to talk about a mother who had brought her daughter’s graduation dress in to be altered, and when told the outrageous cost of the alterations, the mother said she couldn’t afford it. Suki then told myself and my daughter if the lady could afford to spend $900 on her dress she could afford to spend at least that if not more on the alterations. I thought it was just disgusting and vile how she thinks that she can decide what someone can afford for alterations based on what they paid for a dress. She charged us over $525 for our alterations when I had quotes that were for $170 and $200. Suhki is absolutely unprofessional and a financial rapist who prays upon wedding and graduations. Her work is ok but nothing to brag about. The hemming on my daughters dress is uneven and looks terrible. She also does not give detailed receipts or receipts of any kind.

Asked for measurements twice and still got it wrong, wouldn't accept my drawing. Had to hack and patch bedcover and looks terrible and doesn't fit. Always late and way to expensive for unprofessional work.

Fair price and great work. I've had many different things fixed including hard shell mounting bike leg armour that had the shell ripped away from the cloth padding. Saves a lot of money from buying new again.

I got breast cups sewn into my bridesmaid dress for a wedding. She sew in the breast cups the first time, and they were much too big, and had push up cups and wiring despite the dress being backless and clearly unable to support such a bra. I brought it to her attention and she sew in a different cup, which was a better, but still looked odd. This new cup didn't suit the dress and created bra lines in the dress. When I inqured about the lines, she said that the lines are from the dress, not the bra cup... but the last bra cups did not create those lines.. I was not satisfied with the look of my breast cups, but was told that it was fine and any other shop I brought the dress to would do the same thing she did. The positives though, she was very quick and I was able to pick up my dress at her house in summerland which was convenient. She obviously hung my dress correctly because there were no odd seams or wrinkles in the fabric.

Amazing work, customer service, and price! I got my wedding dress tailored here. All of the work is done with so much love and expertise, and done in a timely manner. 10/10, I will be back for boat cusions this summer for sure.

$40 to replace my zipper seemed a bit pricey. However, the quality of her work is worth every penny. We all know the saying about good work not being cheap and cheap work not being good. 10/10 I will return. Apparently, I'm hard on zippers...sigh....

A true 5 star experience was had at Fix N Fit. Sukhi quickly altered my wedding dress and when I lost weight at the last minute she perfectly altered my dress in 24 hours! Thank you Sukhi!!
