I went to this store to buy fabric for reupholstering cushions in my RV. I'd already picked out the material, and the saleslady was about to cut it. She was very friendly and honest, letting me know that starting next week, the fabric would be 50% off (this was on a Saturday). I asked if they would kindly honor that price now, especially since I was about to spend $800-$1000 on fabric. The saleslady went to ask what seemed to be a manager, and when she returned, she said they couldn’t do that. So, I left, and they lost a pretty substantial sale. I’ll just buy it on Amazon instead. I tried to support local businesses, but this kind of experience pushes me further away from retail. It wasn’t the saleslady’s fault; she was doing her best to help. Management really needs to rethink their strategy, especially with the way the market is shifting online.

Great selection of fabric for any maker. Some staff could be nicer but most are super helpful. I’ve found some great stuff there for my accessories. They sell everything from decor to speciality panels and it’s well designed so you can find things easily. I love that most of the staff are also creators, and wear their work. It’s so cool to see the things they make!

I went to Fabricland looking for sensory swing fabric. The employee directed me to a material they said would work and quoted me $38 for the size I needed. I purchased two pieces, with an extra 2 feet on one, and somehow my total came to $144—way more than expected.

Now that I’ve installed it, it’s clear this is NOT suitable for a sensory swing. It stretches excessively, causing my kids to sink to the floor, and it constantly rolls up when they try to sit or lie in it. Total waste of money. I could have bought an entire sensory swing set—including fabric and hardware—for $40 on Amazon. Very disappointed.
