Fabricana located in Coquitlam off United Boulevard is one of the areas largest and oldest (30yrs) craft material, yarn, linen, fabric, quilting, stuffing, and home decor store. Two floors of browsing offers a large selection. Custom vinyl and drapery offerings on the second floor, and the helpful friendly staff can answer questions. An elevator and handicap parking spaces offer support for elderly and handicap customers. First floor washrooms, spacious aisles and bright lighting. A large free parking lot. Also offers customer service in other languages when available.

Incredible apparel fabric store!! So impressed. Great selection, beautiful quality, and fantastic customer service. Worth the drive, great parking, and plenty of space to walk around the store with a buggy. Clean and organized. Good prices. Loved the linen, rayon, knits, shirting, athletic knits. They have denim, brocade, taffeta, suiting, rain coat fabric, lots of faux furs... So good, wish I'd had more time just to browse everything, I'd never seen some of this type of fabric in person before.

Huge fabric selection with very lovely, friendly, and welcoming staff. The staff here really go above and beyond. The only drawback is the prices, which are quite expensive. I understand that fabric prices have gone up, but this store is significantly more expensive compared to others like Dressew. I’d only recommend going if you’re already in the area, rather than making a special trip from other parts of Vancouver.

Love the space , high ceilings, tons natural light, great selection, clean bathrooms, attentiveness of the employees - I consistently have a pleasant experience in this store . Fabric is organized and easy to access, not squished together, there's space to move around with a shopping cart, lots of cutters and efficient checkout. Dee, in particular, has provided me with amazing customer service repeatedly and I really appreciated her patience and assistance. Definitely a star employee there. I highly recommend this place.

I used to shop at the Richmond location as it was closer to home, but it is sadly no longer there. This one is great too. The selection is amazing and the prices much better than another fabric store I could name. I'm not a big sewer, but like to make my kids Halloween costumes and can always find lots of fun things and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I almost deducted a star because they didn’t have orange Minky (what I needed) but I had a good enough experience that I still rate it a 5. I found 3 other fabrics that I ended up buying. The person who cut my fabric was very helpful, asking about my projects and directing me to where another fabric I would like was located, cutting my first 2 fabrics while I went to get it. The person at checkout asked if I had experience sewing the material I was purchasing (faux fur) which was considerate since it’s a tricky fabric to machine-sew. We spoke briefly about issues I am having with my machine; She directed me to a list of regional repair places I can take it. Over-all, a great experience. Faux fur prices were better than Fabricland.

Visited Fabricana to buy outdoor fabric for a replacement 10x10 ft canopy. They only seem to have a small selection and this is my first time buying fabric. They sold me a lovely stripe fabric... See photos... But... my experienced seamstress couldn't stop complaining about it. Seems like a poor quality material that is difficult to stitch and might rip at any moment. When fitting the canopy, I could see how some of the stitches were pulling and already almost ripping the poor quality fabric next to the stitches 🙁 We'll see how it lasts, but I'm not happy with the sales advice I got from Fabricana. I would have definitely paid for a higher quality material if Fabricana had advised me to buy that. I'm not a happy customer...
