We had a small hiccup on our last purchase (dough sheeter) but they promptly sent a technician to solve it. Recommended!

Purchased an oven from these folks and the experience has been great. Mark, the CEO himself, came down to install the oven and walked me through operation and explained how everything worked. Mark, Oscar, and David have been very responsive and supportive. They know and stand behind the products they sell and I know that should I have any issues they will still be there to help troubleshoot. I was in Vancouver recently and stopped by the warehouse to say hello and take a tour. Looked at some mixers and made moves to purchase one. I had a question about adjusting the voltage of the mixer and David grabbed some tools and opened the machine up and explained how to simply move a few wires to make it compatible with my space. I'll buy all of my bakery equipment from these folks.

UPDATE:
Mark's response is exactly the problem. He will say something nice, but in the end offer nothing to solve the issue. His "solutions" all involve us spending a lot more time and shelling out more money to solve problems that should never have existed in the first place. What kind of company ships a broken piece of equipment that is not as advertised and asks a customer to spend more time and money to fix the problem? What act of good faith are you talking about? And recently they completely cut off all communications until we finally posted a review.

We also have been nothing but nice in trying to find a middle ground so we can fix the issues. We proposed fair solutions that would reduce cost and headaches for everyone, but they refused. We even offered to pass on the knowledge we learned while trying to fix the machine, so they can help their customers in the future. They refused. It is clear they do not care about offering their customers the knowledge and experience in using the equipment they sell. But yet Mark says "they care about their customers and the success of their business". Those are just words.

In fact, one of the most atrocious "solutions" they proposed was for us to try to find a buyer for the broken machine they sent us. Imagine that! They actually wanted us to offload a broken machine to an unwitting user!!! Luckily there is email proof of this.

I really dislike writing bad reviews as I personally believe all problems can be solved by clear and effective communications. However, we have tried communicating with Mark Uncao and David Cameron for over 6 months and it has been nothing but frustrations. And now they have simply stopped answering calls and reply to emails.

We purchased a refurbished machine from EM that was advertised as "lightly used and very well maintained". The machine we received was nothing like that. They claim the machine was tested and cleaned before shipping but there has been no video footage. There were a number of sensors and belts that were not working when we received the machine and I had to spent weeks figuring out the issues. These were defects that would have been easily caught had they actually tested the machine. Nor did they clean critical surfaces which were very hard to reach, or even provide instructions for how to clean them.

One of the biggest red flags is that the machine is making a screeching noise from the moment we received the machine. It would have been obvious had they actually tested the machine, but instead they accused us of causing the issue when we tested it with our product. Wow!

At one point the CEO Mark Uncao said they would send another machine to us or do a face time call to diagnose the problem. However, in both scenarios we would have to pay to solve the problems which they created. Now they have stopped all communications and essentially lied to us about the proposed solution.

I would stay away from this company at all costs if I were you. They will lie to your face to sell you a piece of equipment. How are they not like a one of those scammy used car sales people?
