I'm not sure if Electron Metalworks is associated with West Coast Fire Pits, but it appears they are (as the products and address are the same). If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The website claims that orders take 6-8 weeks to ship; however, I have been waiting nine months for my order. I have filed a claim with my credit card company since the owner is clearly dishonest. A couple months ago, I requested a refund or a tracking number. The owner created a shipment with DHL, so I did receive a "tracking number." However, creating a shipment and actually sending the product are two different things. Again, a dishonest company.

I was a bit worried after reading the other reviews, but I received my address sign within a month of ordering. Communication with Michael was great and he answered quickly when I followed up with a question. The sign is absolutely perfect and great quality!

Purchased the ultimate Star Wars Death Star firepit from Electron Metalworks. I had some trepidation based on the previous reviews but when I contacted the owner my concerns were abated immediately. Communication was constant and responsive, updates were always provided immediately on the build status and details of the final shipment of the item provided without issue. Item showed up today after a two month build time and exceeded expectations. I feel that two months to build a custom firepit of this size is not unreasonable. Not sure of the issues with the other reviews but this shop moved twice during the pandemic period I am sure there were some delays with orders. To me they have been resolved and will be looking forward to my next purchase from Electron Metalworks.

Buyer beware. It has been almost a year since I ordered during a black friday sale in 2020. Never heard from them until January 2021 when they cited technological issues and were working on my order. Contacted them again in May with no response and it wasn't until I took it to Paypal that they said they would offer me a refund. No refund arrived and the Paypal escalation window ran out. No product, no refund. I should have posted this ages ago but I see on facebook that they're still in business....

May 7, 2022: no one was more shocked than me, when I received an email notification that my sign had shipped. I received it on Thursday and its just as described and excellent workmanship. Of course I won't be doing business with them ever again but it was nice to see they had a conscience and followed through with the order, even if it was a year and a half after I originally made it so thank you to Electron Metalworks for that. Hopefully they make nice with their other unhappy customers as well.

Do not place an order. You will never receive your product and will have to have your credit card company go after them for a refund. I placed an order Jan 5 and Feb 15 phoned and spoke to “Colton” who said the order was shipping the next day. I phoned back a week later and after a very awkward conversation “Colton” said the order hadn’t even been made and the shop was in the process of moving locations. I realize that sometimes things just screw up and I gave an opportunity for “Colton” to make things right. He promised to phone me back with a tracking number. That was the last I heard and a week of daily phone calls only got an anonymous voice mail with no welcome message. This business openly took my money and outright lied. I was courteous and offered every opportunity for this business to make things right.

They lied.

Do not place an order. You will never get your product and you will lose your money.

Update: a year and a bit after this review was posted the item, without notice, was received. If there had of been an accompanying apology and explanation then this review may have been modified.

I got in contact with the owner Mark Slaco and he responded saying he’d return my money after having to warn that I would have to contact a lawyer he has yet to contacted me again or at all From Facebook emails phone calls and I’m just trying to get my money back I am personally going to have to refund my customer because of this so it has caused damages in a time where my family counts on my work. it’s been weeks and no response.

We worked together with Mike and his crew on a custom walkway. It was quite intricate and Mike worked very hard to get each detail perfect, including making site visits to verify measurements and assist with a complicated install. Due to the success of this project, two more projects were undertaken with Electron Metalworks - both were as successful as the first!

Ordered on Oct 2/20 and no product or refund received, email and phone calls not returned. Disputing with credit card company and going to court after if necessary. Do not buy online from this website!
