Today, just before lunch I walked into Eat Fresh (with all of my motorcycle gear on) and proceeded to the meat section. I told the butcher that it was my birthday today and asked him to recommend an exceptional steak that I could bbq for dinner. He recommended Prime Rib Steak so I ordered two. We have just finished our dinner and my husband said that the steak was the best he has ever eaten and, I agreed. Thank you Eat Fresh!

Great location and store layout! Amazing bakery items and great selection of produce! The friendly staff and incredible butchers in the meat department make this a one stop shop!Picked up a salad to take on the ferry it was delicious!

The fresh bakery foods are absolutely delicious but be VERY wary of the dates of the foods you are buying.
I find it a bit ironic that this place is named "eat fresh" yet two times out of two that i have gone there the things i have bought have been out of date.
It started with dried apples that expired in 2019, which was in the clearance section but not with propwr labeling. Then most recently I got a can of gingerale that expired a few months ago (which, if you know anything about soda you know that means that can was sitting there for AWHILE)

Customer service was curt, the ladies at the bakery were all smiles which was nice. Overall if youre going here just for the bakery I highly reccomend, otherwise shop with caution

This is a lovely store - except for the meat department. There’s nothing wrong with the product but the service is not friendly. We’ve talked to a few people who also have commented about the bad service at the meat counter. It seems so strange to be in such a funky store and have such cranky service. I’m just going to go to Thrifty’s from now on.

Lovely store. Distancing possible. Masks required, of course, like everywhere. Clean, friendly service and very good prices! Excellent product and produce, some I've not really seen before in the area. Store is easy to find and well-located in Parksville. ❤

shoped at the eat fresh for 1 year supporting local bussiness and appreslciaring the fresh produce unfortunatley having purchased some sour ground beef and hsvingbthe most unpleasant opportunity of dealing with sally the co owner who was rude aggresive nasty and had the nerve to acuse me of purposley leaving the ground beef in a hot car!!#
then refused to refund the purchase.
then the other owner the man that wears the same shirt everyday, threatend me a 70 yr old woman that he is calling the rcmp to have me removed
if this how these people treat customers like this i can only imagine how they treat employees.
