Came by to get 4 holes drilled and threaded into a quarter inch steel plate. I was quoted $160 which was a complete over kill. I also asked to have a 5x6 steel plate cut as metal shops have plenty of scraps kicking around. I was refused being provided with a plate and service. This would have taken less than 10 minutes to do and would have been of help. I ended up buying a high quality tap and die set and drill bit for $120 and did the job myself. To be honest I felt they didn’t want to help or have me at their shop like it was a racial issue they had. Would not recommend.

My shower valve cover didn't completely fit the hole in the wall for plumbing. I emailed Downtown Custom Metal Works to get a metal ring/flange made and they were accommodating and the ring was made to spec. Now my shower valve looks great! Give these guys a shout if you need some metal work done.

We needed to cut the metal panel under our kitchen cabinets in order to fit it with a new dishwasher. The gentleman was able to cut it on the spot and didn't even charge us! Wow.. we are so incredibly grateful! We will be sure to pass along a good deed. Thank you so much to this company!

Their shop is next to our Vespa Shop, and when our forklift broke down right before an important job, they offered to help us with their own equipment! These guys are $#%*& awesome looking out for their community. We love this spirit and wholly recommend them based on their awesome attitude.
