I took my grandfathers model ship the Endeavor to Donald as it was in dire need of restoration. Donald agreed to do the restoration and did an amazing job. He spent countless hours fabricating replacement parts, tying intricate knots and creating beautiful new sails for the ship. As it was a fairly involved project it took some time to complete but Donald provided frequent updates and photos as it progressed. All in all I would highly recommend Donald to do any type of restoration to a valuable family heirloom. He is patient and very detail oriented. I am thrilled with his work and would highly recommend him to family and friends. 5 stars! Thank you Donald, my grandfather would be proud!

I found Donald on Google after a quick search. I was impressed with the details he offered on his site and straightforward approach. After having a quick conversation where he outlined his work and cost, I brought my two metal art pieces to him to be altered.

He not only kept to his estimate, his work was impressive and completed much quicker than expected.

For one piece, I needed him to reduce the height so it could fit in a tight space. The piece was expertly altered and looks like it was never touched. Now I get to walk into my office every day and see the piece which was given to me by my grandmother - something I can continue to cherish.

For the other piece, a metal twig "forest" with candle holders, I needed him to use his artistic talent and reduce the width of the piece as well as move some of the candle holders to other "branches" and add one of the removed branches to another spot. The piece looks like it was never altered and it fits beautifully in my guest bathroom now. I love it!

Apart from his stellar work, Donald was a pleasure to chat with. He is kind and thoughtful - I would highly recommend Donald for any metal work, anytime!
