Good selection of produce and fruits, an in store bakery assures fresh baked goods. They do excellent custom cake decorating. Fully stocked frozen iles, and packaged lunch meat, oh, I almost forgot, they have a deli as well. The shelves are well stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Waited in the express lane (1-12 items), almost 20 minutes, to check out the 5 items I had. A man behind me had 1 can of soup. The lady ahead of me, getting checked out, had 1/2 a cart load of groceries! These express lanes are there for a reason & should be enforced!
Other than that, cashier was patient & friendly. Store was clean and well stocked.

I was just at this store at 10 am. It was very busy. Lined right up. There was only one cashier on besides the express line. The whole front of the store was packed with people waiting to check out. Poor service for high prices. I left my full cart there.

Just went for weed. Not a good system. Too small and not enough resources.

2024,10, 08 -- not too bad today. They actually had stock. Not too crowded. High prices.

The prices were a bit high on regular items but sales items are priced good. I walked away with what I needed without having to run around to multiple places. The cashiers seemed to be over run and the self check out was cramped and crowded.

I love the curb side pick up option.

However some customers who go inside for shopping should respect the DESIGNATED 2 parking spots for those of us who utilize PC EXPRESS.

Most items are in stock, when it's not, for our curb side order rain checks are offered or given.

The staff are super friendly and helpful.
I am thankful for all their help and service during this pandemic.

The curb side allowed us to stay safe, help shop when we were in and out of hospitals and long term care facilities for family and our own medical emergencies.

Dominion Carbonear and the PC Express and FlashFood app have been really helpful to improve our quality of life during our familial hardships.

When we order items:
All produce give was always fresh and not damaged. Frozen items were frozen. Baked goods or eggs were never damaged or squished. The pantry items aren't dented. Diary was always good (not moldy or expired) and the powder items (flour, sugar) or liquid items like fabric softener; never came out leaking or damaged.

There's been no mess or inconvenience.

The few times I have went into the store it's usually well stocked and nice display. There are always sold out items or awaiting a shipment but that's to be expected. Everything else is in stock, then I can make do or wait.

It just sucks rolling up to the 2 designated parking spots for PC Express always being full with people who aren't displaying a disability parking pass, who come back to their cars looking to be healthy and fit to leer at me for parking beside them on the roadway with my 4ways on waiting for my order. I don't know how I'm in the "wrong" to bother them but the leer is there. I don't say a word but the official store signage is there for the two spots.

I'd rather the dominion store in Bay Roberts. I find the selection at the carbonear store is not that great and I find the store not quite as welcoming or bright as the Bay Roberts store. I will shop there when I'm in Carbonear and need something that I can't get at Walmart. Otherwise, it's not my first pick.
