Don't waste your time coming here there's nothing to see. Got inside the "visitor center" and went to the front desk to ask for some information/visit. She then laugh at us and told us this is as far as we can go (10 feet from the door).... Too bad has there a lot of potential. Ask to use a bathroom as we just drove 2h to go there and with still with no eye contact just said no.

So don't lose your time... nothing to buy, see and do. Complete waste of time and gas.

Прежде чем проехать на територию дважды проверят твоё ID сачала security потом твоё ID нужно вставить в автомат и расказать кто ты такой и зачем приехал. Security чють было не начал прверять мою обувь на предмет safety shoes, но потом поверил на слово. Туалет там может и есть, но мне в этом ответили отказом.
Если бы security ещё повесили бы калаша через плечо, я подумал бы что приехал в какойто концлагерь.
Если есть возможность то лучше туда не ездить, нечего не потеряете.

How do you rate a distillery? They make booze and it is apparently pretty good (they’ve gotten past their Gimli Goose past). But the place is just a big industrial plant that looks like a lot of other big industrial plants. The safety videos they make you watch aren’t the usual cringe inducing numbers although you do have to winder what happened to the guys fingers. Sorry I don’t think they do tours if you’re just another consumer.

While in Gimli I figured i'd go get a picture, but I was basically told to get the hell out of here. You can look in the window and see at one time they had a display set up. It's now closed. Made me feel like i was a creep. Don't waist your time going there. They have no customer service. I will not buy any more crown royal. Screw them. Maybe the security guard was having a bad day or i woke him up.

This was Diageo's 50th Anniversary for the Gimli plant. Many family members worked for this long standing establishment. In the 70 it was known as Calvert's, next Seagram's and for some years now, Diageo's. My friend spent 45 years of his life here, inviting me to the Dinner Celebration. It was a great time. Attending the event was alot of fun. The Comic was a riot.The live band great as well food was delicious! But the one thing I don't understand. Our little town of Gimli Manitoba, is not acknowledged on Crown Royal bottles as the producers of the famous Liquor. Yet Toronto is a knowledged as bottling the Gimli product. I was never impressed by this fact and feel it is high time Gimli Manitoba appears on all Crown Royal bottles! Our amazing community should be recognize for their loyalty & dedication all these years.
