Bring cash, this is Mennonite country. Honestly, this is a really neat little store. Oftentimes my visits start with popping in for a last minute item, but I always take a tour of their store. They have homemade baked goods, pickles, fresh and frozen chicken, and a good selection of dry goods, but if you especially like popcorn and baking, you need to check this place out. Same if you are into sewing.

Everyone is really welcoming and friendly. I should also mention that they have seasonal fresh produce as well.

Came in out of curiosity, as I was shopping across the street.
It's quite the pantry, well stocked with a variety of things for the kitchen and hobby room.

However, I was quite disappointed at the peach pie - tasteless crust and very few bits of peach. I don't think I can even piece together one whole peach worth in the pie, even tho it's fairly priced at $9.75

I'll stick with my preferred pie supplier at St Jacob's.

My son and I love this place and visit monthly. I buy my flour and other baking essentials. it's great quality and value. Remember the store is not huge, so if your looking for a lot of variety, go to St Jacobs market down the road. Best local place in Waterloo region and the service is also A1 plus. Most places this size only have one person helping, but they usually have two working, so you can ask questions easily.
