I have just installed a new daggerboard for a Farrier 32 trimaran which should give better performance than the standard original. CCI were patient in answering my enquiry and questions to make absolutely sure the new board would be the right size and I was a little anxious in ordering from abroad although I know of other customers from the UK. The new board arrived a couple of weeks ago and we have just had our first sail. Overall very satisfied with the board and experience.

Competition Composites Inc. did a great job repairing the aft buoyancy tank on my Winder Fireball racing dinghy, when it was damaged in a storm. These boats are really light (~75Kg Hull weight), and so it is very important that any repairs are done properly and that they do not add any extra weight. CCI chose a good approach, making a female mold from the deck, and then building a new panel in this new mold, in order to get the shape right. The result speaks for itself, and you would never know the rear deck had been destroyed when you look at the boat now.

My Farrier F9AX elliptical daggerboard arrived today and is perfect for my boat. All of my correspondence was with John Rae and Heather McDowell and it was long distance. I was worried about size and had sent copies of my plans, and the result is exact. After it was shipped, I had frequent updates as to location and it arrived at my doorstep damage free. It was packed extremely well with foam and styrofoam in a custom made wooden container. I would recommend this Ontario firm for any Farrier appendages.

I was very pleased with the effort that was put into calculating the effects of fabricating a fairing to increase the surface area of the keel on my X-Treme 25 and then producing a nearly perfect fitting product.

It was a very hassle free experience. Dropped off the old rudder in the fall and picked up a new one in the spring that fit perfectly. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I've ordered a new rudder for my Corsair 880. Laura and John were super responsive and I thought the price was very reasonable (in US$). The rudder came 2 weeks ahead of schedule. A very pleasant surprise! It looked great. Fit perfectly in the original cassette. It is more than 50% lighter than the original Corsair rudder, which makes it easy to pull it out of the cassette. Very happy.

Stiff, fast rudder. Might have a little too much aft sweep. More weather helm produced than other good rudders. The shaping on leading and trailing edges are a huge improvement.
