Wonderful place. The people are very warm, friendly and welcoming. I am a hobbyist and needed to fill my argon cylinder. They took care of me at a very competitive price, then gave me coffee and a cookie. Old school service. 100% recommend

Swapped argon cylinder there, gas price is way cheaper than big names. Compared to another tool store who claims themself to be reasonable in Coquitlam, gas is 20% cheaper. Another good thing is no need to wait for the refill, swap cylinder,pay the bill and go.
Very friendly guys there. Knowledgeable, fast and kind.
Will switch our welding supplier to cws.

Edited one day after the purchase of argon, hooked up to regulator, instead of 2000 psi, it is 2400 psi, that is 20% more gas in it than any other refill services.

This place has a surprisingly good stock of welding equipment and MIG & TIG accessories. I've dealt with sales rep (Chuck) several times and he has been very helpful when discussing welding technique & equipment. I had them quote on supply of welding gasses and they have much better prices than the other 'national' welding stores in the Vancouver area - so I've switched my supplier from Praxair to Coast Welding.

First , they could not print a completed sales receipt; I had to call my credit card to verify that the purchase indeed went through.
Today I get a call that they did not charge me what was originally quoted.
Ok .
I paid their difference.
This place is incredibly unorganized.
Definitely will not be returning

Can’t recommend this place enough! I’m just beginning my training as a welder, and these guys have been super helpful. Always seem to have exactly what I’m looking for, have answers to my questions, and have even given information about other businesses that might help me if they don’t have what I’m looking for. Huge selection of products, and all the staff are well trained and friendly. If you’re just getting into the trade, especially as a student, this is the place for you. Only downside about this store is that the location might be hard to find your first time visiting, as it is a bit tucked away.

When I needed help at 7am with a leaky CGA connector, the staff were there to help. They were able to determine what needed to be done and had the parts to fix the issue without having to replace the entire regulator. Knowledgeable staff, great selection of supplies and parts. I would highly recommend coast.

Best place to get welding supplies. Cheaper gas than the other retailers, great selection of consumables, and helpful staff.
