Great option for office printers and phone systems.

Previously we had an MFP printer in our office that was being serviced from a company out of Calgary and when there were issues it was too much down time. 2 years ago I contacted Terry at CIP to get him to quote on some options and we ended up switching to a SHARP printer through him. They were price competitive and between having local contacts for rapid support and the predictive maintenance to reduce any downtime its been a great switch.

Fast forward to 2022 our 4 year office phone system ($7,000) was starting to have some issues - hardware? software? I don't really know, and I don't want to have to figure that stuff out. Any service calls were going to cost us, and I was probably looking at some equipment replacements. So I call Terry again as he mentioned they do phone systems also. I now have a new system and phones in every office with no upfront costs, we've reduced our monthly costs, and have included service should an issue arrive. Which I put to the test quickly, the phone in my office was having issues 1 week in. They brought in a temporary replacement immediately, and had brand new one within a week.

So even when things went wrong, they made it right quickly.

I can very confidently say that if you call Terry at CIP for either printers or phone systems you are in great hands. I can't recommend him enough.

We have been using one of their printers for over 3 years. Being a small business, we didn’t need a big machine, Terry and his group have ensured our printing needs are always being met. Their service is outstanding, prices are reasonable, we will always recommend you talk to them. You won’t regret it!, I know we haven’t.

I’ve had a Sharp MFP from CIP for almost 3 years. Terry from their sales team did and continues to do an amazing job of explaining things to me so they make sense and asks just the right questions to make sure you get the machine you need for the job you need to do. John and Clay from the service team are always very quick to respond to any issue I have had to get me back to work. They are very personable and I like chatting with them when they come to fix whichever setting I may have accidentally changed 😉. Last but definitely not least is Bridget, the office admin. She is always so friendly, full of energy and helpful. I cannot recommend the CIP Team enough to anyone needing ANY service they offer.

Not a great company, I wouldn't recommend.

We used to have service with CIP but when the lease was up we shopped around and found a cheaper vendor. I worked with CIP to have our old printer picked up. Note that at no point did they inform me there was a $500 pickup charge and in reviewing the original contract it's not listed there either. Not very professional in my opinion but that’s not my biggest issue.

CIP picked up the printer on March 15th. On March 20th we got an invoice from the leasing company to pay for April 15-May 15th. I reached out to Tylor Doiron, Mark Star, and Kyle Leitch to ask them for assistance. Since the lease was originally setup through CIP and the printer was returned through CIP I assumed they would be able to help. No one replied to me.

On March 22nd I emailed them again asking for an update and heard back from Mark Star staying "Tylor is working on this for you. It takes some time in dealing with this and the leasing company, and also the machine was removed on the 15th and needed to be returned to the leasing company after that, which we are not.". This was concerning as it meant that 1 week after removal, they still hadn't returned the machine to the leasing company.

On April 4th (almost 3 weeks after the printer was removed from our office) the leasing company still had no record of the return. So I again emailed CIP to ask what day the printer was returned. Mark Star yet again takes no accountability and passes the buck to Joshua Goodrich, saying he's back on April 8th. Joshua was on the email chain, so I expended I'd hear from him on April 8th when he was back.

End of day on April 8th I email Joshua as I hadn't heard anything back and got no reply. Today is April 9th and I've resorted to emailing Robb Goodwin the president of CIP hoping maybe he can help.

When these guys give you their sales pitch they’ll tell you how amazing their customer service is and that their ratings are through the roof but based on my experience this doesn't seem to be the case.

I am using a printer provided by Terry with CIP for a few months now; I am beyond impressed with his service. He has gone over and above on all service from his quick call returns (even after hours), his problem solving on the day of delivery when my house did not have the proper wiring for the printer and the speed of delivery when I ran out of toner. ( Clay was at my home within 20 mins, I live 20 mins from his office. ) Clay has also been great to work with. If you require printing needs you should give Terry a call, the quality of his customer service will shock you I promise!
