We loved our stay at Castaways! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin with a view right on the water. It was a cozy cabin with tons of space for the 4 of us. We rented kayaks the first day and enjoyed some fun on the water. The next morning we rented two quads and spent a few hours quaking around the beach, sand dunes and along the river. She was very helpful and got everything to us so fast. We cannot wait to go back!

The highlight of our trip to the Northwest Territories was staying at Castaways Cottages. We were in log cabin #1 which is the closest to Great Slave Lake with unobstructed views. We got up very early and from the convenience of the porch watched the Northern Lights. Cabin was nice with all the items we needed for our stay. You will not be disappointed!! Highly recommended.

Daryl was a welcoming and excellent host. We rented boats to go on the water, enjoyed the sun and beautiful beach, and had a relaxing and recharging vacation at this hidden gem. The cabin was clean and well equipped and Daryl made sure we had everything we needed. This was a perfect no stress time for us and we hope to be back soon. Bonus points for the beautiful sunsets.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was extremely clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Darrel is a pleasure to deal with and spent time visiting and telling us about some of the local history.
