On August 17, 2022, I went into the Car Quest in Lewisporte, Newfoundland looking for a fuel pressure regulator for a 2005 Buick Century, since my car had a strong gassy smell in the cab while I was driving. At the time, I was on vacation in Newfoundland (visiting from Ontario) and I was hoping to locate one soon so I wouldn't lose a day (or days) trying to get this fixed.

The three guys who worked there, Craig (the owner, I believe), Barry, and Dwayne went above and beyond with exceptional customer service!! Not only were they able to find the part in Gander (which was hard, since the car is 17 years old and there were only 2 matching parts in the whole province), they went and got it for me, and then found a mechanic to install it for me the SAME DAY!! This allowed me to continue my vacation that day, and it only took a few hours!! And they were friendly and talkative to boot!!

Thanks again guys for doing an outstanding job!! You guys exemplify what it means to be a true Newfoundlander!!

My granddaughter purchased a quad from these guys only to find out later that it was the same one she had been interested in the day before but for a thousand dollars less. Because of all the lies that the guy at carquest told her about the quad it was too late when she realized it. These guys are liars and crooks! Not sure how they sleep at night doing these things, especially to a young woman who is struggling through college.

CarQuest Lewisporte is a family-owned and operated business. They take pride in customer service and make sure their customers are taken care of, always going above and beyond to make sure the customer leaves not just happy, but with the hopes that CarQuest will be their first choice when in need for future auto parts. It's really unfortunate that the only time you hear a review is when it's a bad one.. but I guess it's what they say.. 'the squeakiest wheel gets the oil'. Keep up the great work guys, I know your customers appreciate all that you do.

One more thing regarding a previous post.. What 'struggling student' buys a 4-wheeler?! Honestly.. Maybe one should focus on their studies (with an obvious focus on math) and do less 4-wheeling.. Just a thought.

My family has had a bad experience with this company. They lied about the amount of kms on the quad and when confronted afterward didn't care because they already had their money. A bunch of cons!!!!! Don't shop there
