This is a great butcher shop! I have been a customer since the 1990's and purchase beef jerky, sausages and all types of meets and specialty items at Cariboo Country Sausage regularly. Hans carries some German food items in addition to his meat and cheese assortment.

Was very excited to go here and was extremely disappointed. Many of the things we asked for they did not have including several of their menu items. Thought would try schnitzel only to get home and find a flat pork chop with no breading. I feel like they wasted a lot of my time and money and never delivered. Went to talk to them and see how we could fix the situation and they straight up refused to do anything to try and keep me as a customer. I will not be returning and making sure people know to take their money somewhere you are valued as a customer.

Stopped in on the way back to Vancouver from Prince George. Picked up a couple pounds of various sausage, a stick of pepperoni and a bunch of cool stories. Will definitely come again. Thanks.

I would get my meat here over any grocery store. It's Clean, affordable, well kept, and so many delicious options. Burgers were a hit, absolutely love the back bacon & the pepperoni sticks were out of this world. 10/10 will be repeat customers. Thank you for such great service!

Best place ever, excellent cuts of meat, Bacon so good 👍, hamburger so good on a barbecue,wouldn't buy my meats anywhere else but Cariboo Country Sausage .

Waste of money! 0 stars if i could. When we went there, they were out of half the things they had listed on their menu. So we settled for snitchzel. It was wrapped and taped closed in brown paper. When we got home, we realised its NOT snitzel, it's just flattened pork with no breading. We went back to try to return it and they said "that's just how we make it cause people might have allergies. We will not take back the meat or give you any money back".

Seriously? Maybe warn people that you "make it differently"
If I wanted thin pork I would of gone to Walmart and spent a lot less money. Horrible service with sub-par meat.

They have the best sausage and jerky I have tasted.

Grumpy old guy? I would call him an interesting old-fashioned character butcher, German accent...the whole bit...like going back in time. We have been using his roast beef and smoked meat in our restaurant for decades. When you go into his shop it is really an experience unlike buying meat in a chain store.
