I had an exceptional experience with button boy not only did they do their job and have everything by the deadline time that we scheduled. I was very impressed with the market and also what has been made for us. I will continue to use his service because I believe in these people and I know that they work diligently to get things out to the customer no matter how long they might have to work so I am very impressed and I’m very glad that I got my political buttons out for our rally, I’m very grateful I believe in 100% Thank you, button boy

Worst worst Worst experience with this guy Dylan. we ordered 1000 pins 1 and half weeks ago for our event on 27th April. For whole week we were taking follow up with him and he was saying will do it. Also took payment information as well and on 26th he said will deliver order at 4 pm but with different dimensions and quantity, we agreed with him on that as well but this guy was making us fool and then he stops picking our phone calls and around 4:30 he said I can’t work on your order. This was my life’s biggest mistake to contact this guy for my order. He was saying I am doing this business from last 30 years, if he is not able to give proper customer service in 30 years then he has to think about something else instead of making people fool.requesting everyone don’t go and order from this guy. He will destroy your plans as he did with me.i am giving one star but actually this guy not deserving that as well. Think 1000 times before contacting this guy.

Update to Dylan’s Response:
We first spoke about the order on 19th April that pins are required by 25th as we had two events on 26th and 27th. All throughout the week, every single day there were multiple follow ups on the status, not once did he mention that he will not be able to get those ready on time. He told us on 24th that he is trying to get those ready and kept us in limbo until the last minute. Emergencies happen, can happen to anyone and its important to stay by family and friends during that time but when you are running a business communication is the key. You gotta tell the client clearly I have a situation, I might not be able to get these done on time so its your choice. We needed the pins for two big events which we had to run without them. If there would have been a clear communication at the first place, I would not have relied on Dylan and would have instead chosen a different vendor even if it would have been for slightly more price. And in that case, we could have still built some trust with Button boy and could have returned for future business. Based on our experience we do not want to work with Button boy in the future even at a discounted price.

When I called to enquire about how long it would take to have 100 buttons made, the person who answered the phone didn't introduce themselves – simultaneously coming across as aloof and rude when I asked, like I was stupid for asking the question.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I emailed them my enquiry – as they suggested I do. Stil no reply 4 days later.

It's as if Button Boy thinks potential customers are beneath them, and that we need to earn their business.
I've never been treated so rudely by a business in my entire life.

VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING!!

I work in corporate events and have never had a supplier behave like Dylan James (owner / operator of Button Boy). More than 3 weeks in advance of a charity event, I contacted Dylan to produce some custom buttons. During the initial conversation, Dylan was hyped up and wanted to up-sell my request of buttons to include mugs, offering to send a sample mug - free of charge.

After providing my Credit Card information, communication with Dylan completely broke down.

When I was able to actually speak with him, he was confused, disoriented and almost incoherent. I was told a week prior to the event that I had to pick up the button order from a box on his front porch. Dylan refused to deliver them to a downtown location. This cost me $40. in cab fare. I was VERY disappointed to discover that Dylan had printed the WRONG image for the buttons. I contacted him immediately. This began a week of lies, justifications and excuses from Dylan - right up to the evening of the event ... and NO BUTTONS.

The only thing that could possibly explain Dylan's confusing and irrational behavior is that he's a practicing addict. I am still trying to get a refund.

I have not received a refunded from you and it is now 3 weeks past the event. I sent you a photo of the WRONG unused buttons AFTER the event when you wanted proof that I had not used them. I told you I would be happy to send the buttons back to you if you payed the shipping cost. The file I sent you clearly stated the image for printing the BUTTONS. I do not want a "discount on future orders" - I would not use or recommend your services.

Everything was made in time despite the rush order. Customer service is very good with communication and is very kind. The badges are high quality! I like how they came out so much! Highly recommended!

Dylan the owner is fantastic! Very Very prompt service. Friendly, Fast. Couldn't be happier. Now my clients can feel more confident wearing a button without having to feel the stresses that come along during these times. Having to explain one's health condition should remain private. Excellent service. They're fast and forthcoming. They make sure that the customer is happy before printing and after. The physical buttons (the steel and pin) are high quality; the print is also very good (very high detail). Easy payment system and email/text.

Price is very reasonable for a downtown place. Pick up is convenient (near subway station).

Would highly recommend for big and small orders (they treat all customers very well).

Very disappointing. I needed buttons made for an event. I called and explained the order (had a 1 week deadline), they said it would be fine and to email over and they would look at it. I never received a response. I chased up by email, text and phone. Finally spoke to someone who was very confusing and told me to send an urgent email and accounts would call for payment (I still hadn't had any confirmation that my order was possible or what it would cost). I sent the email as instructed, no response. No buttons. Too late to go to another company so we didn't have them for our event. I will definitely be looking for a different company next time.
