Very nice store with a great selection. This store is truly a gem. It is well organized with a beautiful layout. There are a lot of books and ideas to choose from. So many nice buttons, you will want a long time to find the perfect ones. The owner, Kim, was very sweet, friendly and helpful. It is definitely a must see when you are in Trounce Alley!

This shop is a small and cozy getaway from the busy bustle of downtown Victoria. There's always beautiful music playing inside and the folks who run the shop are absolutely delightful. The button selection here is unmatched in the city, dare I say the island, and there's also a great selection of yarns and embroidery floss too. If you're a cross stitcher, this is a must visit shop on any trip to the capital.

My daughter and I popped into Button & Needle Boutique at the end of March during spring break. We were impressed with the selection and spent over $400 in the store. We asked if it could be shipped to our home in AB. The lady working at the till agreed to ship it to save room in our luggage.
It is now MAY and it has not arrived, the tracking has been stalled for weeks. I emailed them multiple times about not receiving the package and included that Canada Post claims must be initiated by the shipper. I have also messaged through Instagram and called several times with no response. This store has made no effort to even acknowledge the loss or show any attempt to contact Canada Post on my behalf.
Upon reading their Google reviews, it appears they have a long history of poor customer service. 0/10 DO NOT recommend!

Today I went by here and picked up some embroidery yarn, needles and buttons. There were so many beautiful embroidery threads and yarns, and a great selection of tools. The woman working was pleasant and helped me find what I was looking for.

Owner was super helpful & friendly. I was looking for embroidery yarn but I'm a newbie (really only doing one project). He helped me sort through what I need for my project. And bonus, when I casually parked my bike outside without locking it, he suggested I bring it inside. How nice is that!? I was just being lazy about locking it. If you really must drive here, you can find meter parking nearby or parking at the Bay Centre.

Travelled from Winnipeg and before doing anything we came here. My love was in heaven :-). The staff were friendly and the selection was amazing. If you're into cross stitching or knitting you need to visit this place.
