Called in and asked for a specific vit A the lady told me they don't have it in stock regularly. I asked if they could put me on a waiting list. She said sure and took my number down. About an hour later I got a call from the store that they actually had the vitamin A 8 bottles. I asked if they could put 3 away for me and I would come in this week. She told me that they had a sale on and if I come in over the weekend I would save 5 if I spent more then 15. I'm out of area but I decided to drive in with my hubby. When I got to the store and asked for the vit A she pulled out a different brand. I said that was not the brand I had asked about. She proceeded to very rudely and in a condescending manner that.when she called me she told me this was the only brand of vitamin A carried in Canada, that she told me what brand they had when she called me, which she did not. I did not take the vitamin A. She just overall looked and acted like a real miserable person. Horrible customer service.

Great place and they actually have dry sundried tomatoes. No one really carries them. Great choice of sugar free candy too. Staff was a great help too. I'll be back for sure.

Good selection and variety, similar to the well known B B though a bit smaller and no ingredients listed on mixes.

Great selection of natural health products. I love the staff they are so kind and helpful. I have ordered different products in and they can always get them for me without an issue. I love the different snacks they carry as well. The atmosphere is always great and the owner is really nice. I will always come back to this store I never have any issues.

amazing store! i came across this place by accident and am so happy. The staff are so great and they carry a lot of amazing bulk items and great prices as well as natural beauty products. The best thing of all is that they allow you to bring your own containers to shop bulk which helps supports a zero waste lifestyle! It`s my favourite new place to shop and I think it will worth the drive out from North Burlington for me!

Quite a disappointing experience recently. I came to buy an empty pump bottle and fill it with soap. When I put it to use, the bottle was broken - a very small crack in the bottom meant all my soap leaked out and the bottle was not usable. I brought it back and asked if I could return it for a functioning one - I didn't ask for the soap to be replaced, just the bottle.
The shop assistant asked the manager, who said I needed the receipt. I explained that I declined a paper receipt - who needs paper, the whole point of these places is to *reduce waste*, and they did not offer me an emailed or texted version. The manager never came out to speak to me, where she might have remembered me from when I purchased my items. No receipt - not interested in helping, or speaking to you. I wanted her to know that she may be selling a range of cracked plastic bottles, but they just weren't interested. They claimed this type of bottle "is sold everywhere", and seemed to be implying that I was trying to cheat them - which is not good manners if you are in sales (or just in general). It's a $4 bottle, why would I lie about this? I didn't ask for their product, which I also paid for, to be replaced. I'm just an honest human trying to cut down on wasteful products.

Which now includes this store - such a shame, really, as they have a great selection of well-priced items, but if they are selling broken bottles, what else is not up to scratch?

As they told me - they sell items which are sold everywhere, and so that is where I will go - everywhere else. Bulk Barn would have taken the bottle back, no questions. Because it would have meant keeping a customer who will spend at each visit. Would prefer to support a smaller local business hands-down, but this place has made that too difficult.
