Bramakers Supply has been an absolute lifesaver for me. I have been a sewer and default DIY-er all my life but have been paying $200 - $250 each for bras because I have a stupid size that is only available in specialty shops and NOBODY local carries fabrics, supplies and findings (and I haven't found a good way to DIY underwires!).

Enter Bramakers Supply.... it took a few tries (and a reference book) to get the pattern and the fit right but once I got that to work... I can now make a bra for $32.00 plus about 3 hours of my time. (that's about 13% of what I used to pay). I was very surprised at how easy it was after the first one - no fancy sewing machine, no exclusive skills required - just a straight stitch, zigzag and 3-step zigzag. No serger!

The hesitancy about buying fabrics online is totally understandable - I have never done it before this either. You have to see, feel, "understand" the fabric before you commit. But the descriptions on the website are pretty good and tell you what each item is used for, and staff is very helpful and only a phone call away, so I did make the exception and ordered a small amount online - not a huge commitment, just to try it. And it worked out brilliantly.

Postage can be pricey so I've been waiting until I have a large order; that way the percentage it adds becomes more manageable. The flat rate envelope postage helps, too.

Bramakers Supply was a bit of a gamble at the beginning but has turned out to be an ideal solution for me and I do not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Misty was so incredibly helpful in recommending fabrics and findings for my bra making journey. The store has so many options and it is pretty well organized to find what you are looking for. Will definitely be coming back for more when I run out again. (Also their laces are stunning 😍)

Very disappointed. Drove into Hamilton specifically to get a bathing suit pattern and see what fabrics/fixings they had only to find they're not open for instore shopping. I WILL NOT shop fabrics online. Need to see and feel before getting something cut that then I can't return. I had previously reviewed the website extensively and nowhere was it visible that they were curbside only.
Used to love this shop, but very disappointing experience that could have been avoided by a simple website banner.

Bra and sewing supplies are hard to find especially quality product. Bra Makers Supply, always surpasses my expectations! I'm in BC and love the on-line shop!
Every order has come quickly, and the staff are always helpful by e-mail or by phone. My questions about products are always answered, it's my go to for Bra making supplies, everything in one place, no need to source other vendors. Love this store!

I've been coming here for years, and absolutely adore this place. I'm here at least once a week to get what I ned to run my business. Having such an amazing asset to the lingerie community in Hamilton is such a blessing. Their classes are superb, their patterns near perfect, and their team patient and kind. Driving back and forth to Hamilton from Oakville all the time can be a pain (since there's hardly any actual fabric stores left in the fabric district) but I never leave disappointed.

I've visited this store in person, and shopped so many times over the internet. My orders have been correct, pretty much 100% of the time, but in time or two they weren't, Bra-makers Supply made things right - quickly.

I've also received help over the phone more times than I can count - I was sure they all knew me by name I called so often.

The prices are reasonable, and the quality is marvelous. I have been and will continue to be a loyal customer.
