Been going to this store for a number of years but it seems that the owners have changed and the store isn't the same as it was. Prices have sky rocketed which resulted in me going to other British stores instead. Reading the reviews the owner gets very defensive over receiving criticism over the prices. Yes inflation is a factor but the mark up seems incredible

Used to be a much better store. Sadly products are now more limited and price has gone up. However there are some products that other stores do not have. I have also requested certain products 3-4 times to be told we will look into it and let you know. I have never received a call or message back once. Why offer this to not follow through? Even a simple text to say sorry we can’t get it would be nice. I guess I will have to start looking elsewhere.

So nice to see a local business expanding trade with other countries than the US while providing great selection of UK products not available elsewhere. Good service and friendly, neat environment. Very helpful with products.

I went into this store recently to get some of my English favourites but what I found was a major lack of product and outrageous prices. I understand the mail strike has played some part in low inventory but I was also there before the strike and it was similar. As well, the prices are ridiculous; $10.19 for a can of Heinz Tomato soup, $9.29 for a can of Ambrosia Rice Pudding. These prices are way out of line with other British stores or international food aisles in grocery stores. I also enquired about a gift card but they only issue with a minimum amount of $25. Get with the times or you'll end up going out of business.

Recently purchased four boxes of Paxo Stuffing. Today when I went to use them I noticed on the box that the best before dates were 2020 and 2021.
As I live some distance away, it is uneconomical for me to return to the store.

Yes buyer beware.
