My personal favorites are Mary Had a Lot of Lamb and Ghost Taco Enhancer. It is so great to have their blends as a staple in my kitchen and supporting a Nova Scotian company!

I LOVE Big Cove Foods and I tell everyone.
I received my BBQ package really quickly, as usual and I'm so happy because there are some I haven't yet tried and they are wonderful! Porcini BBQ Genie and Espresso Nice are fab! There are so many great varieties and I had to order some extra of the tried and true that I love and can't be without, Red Rub and Mary had a Lot of Lamb. These rubs are low sodium, no fillers, vegan and have no MSG and they are proudly made in . Make sure to order online or at select stores because I honestly use them in almost everything I cook these days. ?

I love all Big Cove Foods gourmet spices and products. I've used the spices to marinate for long or short time periods, and also season raw meats and vegetables right over the bbq or campfire, and the results are superior. This is a true time saver and the blends are so versatile and high quality you will be eating gourmet without the hassle of manually finding and preparing each herb and spice for your dish -all the work is done! I am so happy to see a spice company from Big Cove, NS enter the Ontario markets, and I bet will become a national brand. Make sure to try the Habanero Lime Jelly -this goes great on ANYTHING! In 2019 we came up with a concept to develop a branded seasoning. We were very clear on what we wanted, but we had no idea how to go about bringing it to fruition. That's when we teamed up with Big Cove Foods.
Sarah and Dave worked with us through every step of the process. From ensuring that we had the correct blend, making sure that we met all safety guidelines, helping us develop a label that was market ready, and helping us source out packaging.
The partnership between the Kilted Chef and Big Cove Foods ensured that our foray into the production side of our business was a seamless transaction. We would even say that they made the process not only educational but an extremely fun one as well.

The spices from Big Cove Foods make everything we cook so much better! They give us so many more options and inspiration for meal ideas, and they liven up and energize our old favourites. Frozen broccoli pan fried with Sunshine Blend is *chef's kiss*.

I highly recommend their spices for anyone who wants to get into the kitchen more often, or just have more fun when they're in there! Oh, and the caramels and jellies are absolutely out of this world.

These spices are amazing, and are so versatile! I love how easily I can elevate dishes with this line of products. They definitely build confidence in the kitchen too! The quality is always consistent, which I love.. but it definitely makes it hard to choose a favourite! Also - these make beautiful gifts without breaking the bank. I've given spices + whisk or spatula or mixing bowl as Christmas gifts in the past, and each time it's been a hit!

But don’t let that fool you…they are expert caramel makers…buttery…soft…chewy!
And their spice blends create magical meals with just a sprinkle!
My favourite is Mary had a Lamb…a blend of savoury and spicy herbs. I use it on and in everything!
Chicken…veggies…seafood and meat.
I’ve never used it in baking because Big Cove Pie Spice is perfect for that! It can replace plain cinnamon in any recipe…and add a unique flavour.
Even good in chocolate chip cookies!!!!
