Do not buy the 3*300 gr ground beef from Belmont meat which sells for $10 at Maxi. Even though it says the meat is inspected on the package, the meat is really disgusting once opened.

I defrosted it for 24 hours in my fridge and when I opened the package, the meat was a little brown and smelled very strongly of chlorine. I cooked it to see and it cooked really slowly whereas real ground beef would have already finished cooking. It wasn't minced meat, it was pink mush that took a long time to cook. In the end, I threw the meat away without eating any. After 2 hand washes, the chlorine smell is still on my hands.

After seeing only 8 comments on Facebook about these burgers, and all of them being unaddressed complaints, I've decided to show you what you're buying. These were just purchased. As you can see, they are freezer but don't expire until 2025. The truth? They are not actually air tight (gross). There are at least 4 holes punched into every bag to ensure they are saturated by the surrounding and, bacteria, moisture etc. Just checked every other frozen burger we have, everything else is air tight.

I recently purchased the Angus beef burgers. Hands down The best frozen patties I’ve ever cooked! So delicious tasty everyone loved them. I went back and bought two more boxes for this weekend. It’s a must try.!

The box says Angus 'Beef Burgers', the company says Belmont Meats. I get home and pull out a strange looking patty. I read the ingredient label under nutrition facts and the product content says beef, water and TOASTED WHEAT CRUMBS. I live in a remote area and returning this is not possible. The product is deviously misrepresented. I can't eat these. That should be illegal.

Bought some angus burger patties at giant tiger today and omg i was blown away!
They say homestyle and yes they are. They are much better then any pc frozen burgers. These had that amazing char broiled flavor , were tender and so juicy. Amazing burgers for a 5 oz size.
Make a double burger or , make yourself a cpl. You just cant eat 1.

Never in my life have I had a burger with this amount of fat in it. You may be able to hide that when it's cooked on the BBQ, certainly not when it's pan fried. I normally check ingredients and fat content before purchasing anything. These I didn't check till I got home. I just paid appropriately $12 for Fat Burgers to throw them in the garbage!! I'm surprised that a company that handles meat products could get away with that. As a meat company you should be ashamed of yourselves. People today try to eat healthy and feed their families wholesome, nutritious foods. Obviously Belmont Meats only concern is how much they can rip people off. Your attitude can be also judged by the number of responses to the reviews you've received.
