I wanted to share a quick update about a recent policy change at the store. In an effort to reduce shoplifting and keep prices low for everyone, the store has implemented a no-backpack or shopping bag policy inside the store. This means customers are kindly asked not to bring backpacks or personal shopping bags while shopping.

No need to worry—hand baskets and carts are provided at the entrance for your convenience.

If you're asked to leave your backpack or shopping bag at the front or keep it in your cart, please know this policy is applied fairly and equally to everyone. It’s not about profiling or singling anyone out—it’s simply a step toward maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The staff has been respectful and helpful in explaining the change, and I appreciate their positive approach as we all adjust. Let’s continue to support our local store and each other as we shop!

6 pack Bran muffins are excellent tasting, but why was I charged gst and, why was I charged gst on 6 donuts and my 8 pack portugeuse buns and my loaf of bread ?
If it's 6 items and above there shouldn't be gst.
Somethings wrong with that. Not really trusting this place any more. If I make purchases here again, I will be watching very closely, and double checking my bill before paying. This place is a little more expensive for some things also. Its too bad, because they have a few unique items there ..

I've never been to this grocery store before. I just walked through to see what they had and was pleasantly surprised at the selections of meats and the produce. I went back a couple of times to get the freshly picked and locally sourced asparagus.

The pricing here is ridiculously high. Meat is not bad quality and produce is good, deli meat is low quality and pastries and cookies are not fresh daily, check the dates made. If made today then tomorrow is day old and should be redused in price to clear. This place is just a money grab, thanks for helping the community.

The staff are certainly not the friendliest. 7:15pm and the door in was open, so i went in. I was met by an older man saying "store's closed, don't know who the left the door open" and 2 women (staff) looking at me.
I was a bit taken aback, but no biggie. I turned to leave, following one of the women out, and despite knowing i was behind her, she didn't even make an effort to hold open the door, so it nearly smacked me, and I jumped back. The remaining 2 staff said nothing.
I'll drive to Pentictip before I support them again.

Great store , super friendly staff , they have absolutely everything you want and prices are higher on some products but beats having to pay for gas to go to elsewhere.

First time I've been in the store. Looked around a bit. The meat looks fantastic and I'll go buy some next time I'm there. So much is made in the store

Yeah the prices are a bit high, but glad that there is a store back in Okanagan falls that has meat in it. I actually really had a hankering for watermelon, and this is what it looked like when I cut into it... oh and wowwww does it taste bad. Had to eat some onion to get rid of that taste on my tongue.

Give em the benefit of the doubt though, just have to keep your eyes on the prices, because, yeah some are a bit over the top.
