Needed to get my 305g diagnosed. I was able to drop it off in Abbotsford and they shipped it to Coquitlam for free. They were very detail oriented and had the best costumer service I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately my welder needed a new engine, but they offered me a ton of solutions and options. I highly recommend them for all you welding needs including maintenance and diagnostics.

I made the mistake and took my welder in for repair, they took 7-8 weeks to have a look and by then I realized it was my welder plug having issues and not my welder, by the time they had a look at my machine they came up with a 2600$ part it needed, but failed to mention what it was. I would not recommend this place to an enemy. The repairs will almost always cost the same as a new welder. Don’t waste your time or money! Now I’m curious to see if my welder comes back working…

Went in to ask a question about adapting my tig torch to my stick machine. The young man with an emo haircut and nose ring was super helpful and nice. I'm a hobbyist so I don't really know the lingo but he was polite and pointed me in the right direction even though I didn't end up buying anything as they didn't stock my needed item. Great service, very friendly

Driver crossed legal picket line then BH replies to bad review saying he couldn’t tell there was a picket line . I guess the 3-4 tents out there with signs and people walking all over mid day with on strike signs on them wasn’t quite enough for the driver to see a picket line was there . I ask BH, do you have your drivers get eye exams on a regular basis because delivering dangerous goods is a job I would hope your drivers vision would be top notch for . I wouldn’t want to know they missed the stop sign in front of them because it wasn’t obvious .

Professional welder. Been using these guys because they are close to my house. But their refill prices are more expensive than anybody else. And their customer service is not that great. I just exchanged a cylinder and it has a company's name on the cylinder. They also charge $6 for Regulatory Compliance fee on top of the $66 to fill up a 125 cylinder. Complete rip-off. They were reluctant to accept a special they had on their website. In this day and age you should know what's on your website.

You are not priced competitive. You are 30% more than any other gas supplier. To put a coat of paint over a company's name so your customers have their own bottle is not difficult to do. You chose to take the easy way. More profit! Thank you for the generic copy and paste reply. Shows how much you care about customers! I will not refill or buy any supplies from Barry Hamel again! I recommend that people follow. There are way better suppliers that care about quality and service!

I order supplies and different gas cylinders from Barry Hamel on a regular basis. My main point of contact is Amanda, who is always very helpful. On a number of occasions, she has explained product variations or given me details that increase my knowledge and allow me to make more informed decisions. Whether I need to set up a delivery, a pick-up or get pricing, Amanda always responds quickly. I have also dealt with the shipping department and the drivers and found them all to be helpful.

I am very impressed with the service department. I purchased a welder at an auction that was faulty. I brought it to Barry Hamel. Once the technicians looked at it they realized that they had seen the same machine in the shop and it was shot. They helped me provide proof to the auction company that this was the case.
