The Home Hardware in Cupids did not disappoint in providing me with a quality flagpole and a quality flag. The flag itself is thick and made with a durable nylon - the only time I will likely bring it inside is during Environment Canada warnings. The aluminum pole and mounting bracket also came with all the necessary hardware, which is extremely sturdy once secured.

Although I normally shop in the city as I live in the city, the trip out to the Cupids store was a nice excursion as no Home Hardware stores in the city had what I would have liked to purchase. The option to purchase online and ship to home is available for people who prefer to stay put!

The associates were quick to help me find some more items and were very kind and patient as I had some questions. They also know how to keep a store very organized and clean, which is always appreciated when browsing.

I will raise this flag proudly from my home and continue to support Home Hardware as they are a fully Canadian company. I truly believe we as Canadians know how to represent our country to the fullest, and this store in particular did an appreciable job at representing Home Hardware strongly.

Bought a new GE dryer and washer set from Cupids nl home hardware, they delivered them and put them in place I plug in the dryer, It never worked from day one, called them they told me not their problem, so I had to wait for GE to send a repair man, got it fixed worked twice and stopped again. I was treated terribly by the manager of this home hardware, Now over a month waiting to us my new dryer , I’m waiting again for GE to call. To set up appointment maybe another month to wait, Home hardware was rude and and very disrespectful to me, I have spent thousands of dollars in that store only to be treat like that and they don’t even want the return of item finally word from them you bought you deal with it. Bought a washer dryer set and the dryer was broken! They did nothing and told me to get a new dryer! Shouldn't have to. the one that I bought from them shouldn't of been broken and they refused to replace it!

Coming from Victoria, I drive past Carbonear and Bay Roberts to go to this Home Hardware. This Home Hardware in Cupids seems to keep stocked various items that others do not have on hand. Very clean and tidy.

They (Avalon Home-hardware), at first, refused my return of a defective appliance. I had to resort to calling Head-Office to force a return. I did not feel welcome during the whole situation at the store. I will not be returning, and will take my business elsewhere moving forward. In my opinion, this was not an example of "Home owners, helping home owners" at all.
FYI- this appliance was only purchased slightly over two months prior to its defect becoming apparent.
