Broke down while passing thru on hwy 17 on a Saturday.
They clearly had other stuff to do but did me and my family a huge favor by ordering parts right away, getting the wheel bearing changed, and getting us back on the road .
Down-to-earth, thoughtful guy made sure we were all comfortable while we waited.
It ended up being a great weekend as planned instead of an unplanned stay in petawawa until Monday .

wish i could give zero stars. never recommending this place ever. drove my car for an inspection knowing the front spring is broken when we got the car back the breaks were ruined and the car was leaking. art himself said it would be about 3500$ in repairs and that we shouldn’t drive the car… the car was in better condition going in then leaving the shop. not to mention when we were picking the car up we had to tow it with another vehicle.. but we drove it there!! the whole time they were unprofessional asking us to pay with cash instead card and they say they close at 5.. there were three people inside at 10:00 pm!! instead of offering help when we were towing they decided to come stand in the driveway and smoke cigarettes while mocking us and laughing very unprofessional and the whole time my family and i felt uncomfortable. we will never go back they ruined my car more than what was originally wrong with it and there attitudes are rude and inconsiderate if you ever need your car fixed STAY AWAY FROM ART!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!! THEY broke our fuel rail while replacing a thermostat on a dodge journey. They lied about doing the damage.Scammers,careless, dishonest. Cannot be trusted. When we were in their lobby multiple open bottles of liquor, mixers,and cases of beer clearly accessible at 11am on a Wednesday. They did not offer to fix the damage they caused at their cost leaving our vehicle inoperative for Christmas because at this time we cannot afford this added 500$plus expense. I REPEAT STAY CLEAR FROM USING THIS SCAMMING SHOP. I would give negative stars so they are beyond lucky to receive a 1 star. No boozy she flat out lied about what was leaking, we showed her clearly that she was dishonest and we have witnesses to that as their was two of us. We were defeated that you did this and you did not offer to pay for the entire damage. So you can try n save your breath over there and focus on treating the next customer right. You absolutely should not have lied because had I not been there you would have taking us for an expensive trip. So I urge anyone that wants to contact me and I can tell you everything that happened..this 1 star review should be a negative 100 stars. Good try trying to cover up your dishonest business

I normally always worked on my own cars. I spent 7+ years in Ontario for work and did not have access to my garage and tools. I met Artie by chance at a local pub and we immediately hit it off. Not only did Artie work on my vehicle but I spent many hours at his garage whilst he worked on customer vehicles. I can unequivocally testify to the honesty and quality of Artie’s work. He is the kind of person that will not upsell you two struts if you only need one. With automotive repair, the news is never good. I can guarantee you that the costs are largely driven by the cost of parts and the inadequate maintenance design on the part of the manufacturer. Why make you buy a new drive shaft when all you need is a u-joint, thank you Honda. Having worked in automotive repair and working on my own vehicles for many years, I can attest that you will never find a more honest shop than Art-e-motive.

I recently brought my 2016 Elantra in to the shop with concerns about loud squealing in the back tires. The issue was diagnosed within the afternoon and I was told the tires simply need replacing soon - the issue had been the tire drum. There was no charge for the diagnosis. I was very happy with my experience there.

I have been taking our Kia Rio and Ford Ranger there for about a year or so.
Fantastic service every time. Only had one issue with them ever, and they completely made it right.

Excellent customer service from the gentlemen working the desk, and so far, the work done on the vehicles is the best I've had in the Petawawa/Pembroke area.
