If you're in downtown Vancouver and looking for a Persian supermarket with great prices and variety, Aria Market is a fantastic choice. The fruits and vegetables here are not only fresh but also priced lower than major competitors like Walmart or Safeway. You can find almost anything you need, from everyday essentials to a wide selection of Persian products that are hard to come by elsewhere.

The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and affordability in the heart of Vancouver!

This is a really interesting international store. Produce selection out front is pretty good but their inventory of imported goods is fascinating. I managed to find Hungarian sour cherries and Iranian fruit leather! Only thing I didn’t like is the store is setup with what is effectively a one way flow of traffic.

I’ve now been a regular at Aria Market for four years, shopping here almost daily. While the store offers a variety of products and presents itself as a welcoming local grocery, I’ve noticed issues that really impact the customer experience. Recently, I asked to exchange a green pepper purchased the day before that turned out to be rotten. Despite my loyalty and frequency of shopping there, I was told they wouldn’t replace it without a receipt. After some back and forth, and with other customers agreeing, I eventually had to raise my voice.

This incident highlighted something I’ve felt for a while: Aria Market may appear to be a friendly neighborhood store, but it’s ultimately profit-driven and lacks genuine customer appreciation. Their policies seem rigid, and although they cater largely to the Persian community, they don’t seem interested in the broader cultural diversity of the area. Even after years of daily shopping, I didn’t feel recognized or valued.

While Aria Market might be convenient for many, especially given its location as an alternative to big box stores like Safeway, my recent experience has changed my view. If you’re looking for a store that values customer loyalty and offers flexible service, this may not be the place. I won’t be shopping here again.

Small and claustrophobic market. They could not have made this market smaller. My closet is bigger than this store. There is a one way flow of traffic. You can’t go backwards, you go in one way and out the other way. Not a pleasant shopping experience. There are no parking space either. You have to find and park in the street.

I highly recommend Aria Super Market for Persian customers in town. As a regular customer myself, I can confidently say that this market is one of the best. They offer a wide range of halal and high-quality meat products. I always choose to buy all my meat and chicken from Aria Market because of their excellent selection. Additionally, the staff at Aria Super Market are extremely helpful and provide exceptional customer service.

Aria Market is an absolute gem! Their produce is always fresh and top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from. I particularly love their fruits, which are always ripe and juicy.

But what really sets Aria Market apart is their meat and seafood selection. The meats are always tender and flavorful, and the seafood is incredibly fresh. I've never had a bad experience with any of their products.

The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. They're always willing to answer questions and make recommendations. They make shopping at Aria Market a pleasure.

Overall, I highly recommend Aria Market for all your grocery needs. Their products are top-quality, their staff is amazing, and their prices are very reasonable. You won't be disappointed!

Best produce in the city for great prices! Doesn’t have everything but always get as much as I can there. Sweet staff, and a nice range of products you can’t find in a typical market.

Great place to shop for Middle Eastern food. It's pretty clean, though it's tight so easy to feel getting crammed with people. There's multiple cashiers so there's never a long wait at checkout. It doesn't completely replace a standard supermarket, as I didn't find any household cleaning products for example. Still for what I can find here and considering it's a local store rather than a conglomerate, I'd rather take the longer trip than purchase from overpriced and unclean Independent Grocer. I haven't tried the fruits or vegetables yet, been mainly getting baked goods and a few assortment.
