Je viens de Gatineau et oui je fais la route. Quand j'e tre dans le magasin, je me pince, je capote, du velour extensible, du Lycra en veux tu en voilà. J'ai jamais vu un magasin avec autant de Lycra, de velour extensibles. Tout pour les robes de Patin, les maillots de Gymnastique. Je prévois y aller encore cet été.

They have a large parking lot behind their shop, which is super convenient and easy to load up big orders. I’m glad I found this place.

I cannot recommend Ann’s Fabric enough. You will meet the absolutely nicest people here (and of course also see some beautiful fabric). I went into Ann’s looking to make a wedding dress. Teresa was the first person I met at the store. She wasn’t even working that day (just there looking at fabric herself), and she still volunteered to help me out!! She was so kind and patient. I then spoke to Franco for additional advice, and he was absolutely amazing too. I was coming from Toronto, and still had not decided what fabric to leave with, so he stayed an hour after close to make sure I got everything I needed(!!). I was absolutely blown away by his help, patience, and hospitality. He even facetimed his sister, Melissa, for another expert opinion on the best fabric that would match the dress I wanted to make. Melisa, unsurprisingly, was also so kind and incredibly helpful. I left the store about ready to cry because I felt like I had met some of the best people that day. I truly cannot recommend this store enough. Thank you for everything Franco, Melissa, and Teressa for your kindness and care, and for making my dream dress possible!

This is something I have never experienced in the many decades since I started cutting fabrics creating just about anything. My love with fabric began as a teen, purchasing fabrics around the world and with my first degree in this field I understand immediately when problems arise. What I cannot understand is why the old owner, chose to sell to me a black fabric, which was middle of the roll, hence fabric being sold previously to other customers. He advised me to put it in water due to a shrinking pattern observed with cotton, however this is when the problems started. I kept changing the water turning black (the fabric I wanted to use it with had bits of white, which surely would have been affected by this black fabric) proof the fabric maker did not use a catalyst to stop the colour bleeding and not only that, as soon as I put it on the hangers to dry, the 6 metres of black fabric, kept ripping apart in many places, proof the cotton fibre was poor quality. Why did they further sell this to me, since it was the middle of the roll? Next day, early in the morning our recently adopted 10 years old cat we have adopted was sick, as her water located some 1 metre outside the bathroom probably had some black particles that travelled from inside the bathroom where the floor/sink/bathtub was covered in black despite cleaning it 3 times as per my pictures: I have never experienced anything like that EVER before!!!!!!! I called the owner who said 'bring the fabric here and I will refund you'. Days later I travelled back some one hour to his shop for his son to say 'you should have thrown it in the bin' while he ripped it further apart. Why did they ask me then to waste further time and money then? I made the mistake to also buy some sewing threads and even these ones they give me problems when using the sewing machine. But hey, I got a sewing thread as a gesture of good will!!!!! I do not understand why the old owner and his son even said to me: 'I hope you are going to come back here'. Do I have a good reason?

I went to this shop and was so pleasantly surprised with the help I received and the selection of their materials. I was looking for large cotton which they had but I was impressed by their huge selection of spandex and sparkly materials, appliqués! I was very impressed. Thank you so much!!

Went into Ann’s fabric today as I was getting a dress made by Golden Thimble and I’m so glad I took their advice. There was more fabric than I’ve ever seen before and the owners and employees were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely my new favourite spot for all my fabric and notion needs!
