Amber is amazing! When I first contacted her to do my alterations I had less than 4 months before I got married and was pregnant so we knew there would be things to take in for sure she was willing to still do my dress. She is very personable and explains what she is doing and why. When comes to her work, she is a 10/10. She altered my wedding dress beautifully. Her pricing is fair in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Omg! Amber is one brilliant zipper doctor! My winter jacket zipper broke, she figured it out quickly that the slider was broken, she had the slider in stock and installed, and I was out of the store in five minutes!!!! The bill was six dollars!

In the past, I have taken jackets with broken zippers to alteration shops and they charged $40 and two weeks to repair! You made my day Amber thank you so much for your brilliant work today! 😇

Highly, highly recommend Amber! I have had horrible experiences with seamstresses in the past and my time with Amber has been the complete opposite! She has been absolutely amazing in helping me bring to life the vision I have for the wedding dress of my dreams! She is open, creative, communicative, and professional - with a wide range of knowledge and expertise with alterations to wedding dresses and grad dresses, formal wear, etc., and with general tailoring. Her business in Ponoka is very well presented with a quaint and authentic vibe, open and accepting. In terms of prices, in my opinion she is very reasonable! I am more than happy with her work so the amount owed is more than worth it! My wife had her shirt taken in at Amber's Alterations ahead of our wedding and the shirt looked great. We felt very welcomed at Amber's Alterations as a queer couple, so much so that I brought in a shirt to have taken in, even though I sew! Amber is a very friendly owner, we're happy to support her business.
