I got my wedding dress alterations done here and the alteration details to make it my dream dress were done beautifully. They suggested adding 2 extra bustles one at each side so I could move more seamless in the dress later and I fell even more I love with my dress. They added glitter fabric to the bust, added clips for the wings, removed tulle, hemmed the dress and took in the sides - all exactly how I imagined.

Alliston Tailoring did a wonderful job hemming 4 pairs of pants this week. The lady very kindly put a rush on them since I was hoping to have one pair within a day or two. She rushed the whole lot through for me - and they are perfect. The couple is very pleasant and I will take all my alterations there in future. Thank you.

This place is horrible they messed up my daughters prom dress a couple months ago. They wouldn't even help her find another dress all they told her was there is nothing they will do for they were so rude to her.
Then I went in for a belt and a shirt to go with the suit I purchased about a year ago. The gentleman helped me pick a shirt the shirt was tight around my neck all done up he kept telling me it's ok it's ok. so I figured I just wouldn't use the top button not that big of a beal and belt the cost was 160.00. The following morning I found out the suit didn't have any belt loops on it. Not really much I could do because we had to be at my daughter's graduation for 930. I figured buying the suit from him he should have known that I needed to purchase suspenders instead. A few days later I explained to him what happened he told me he was sorry and that I could return the belt. So I brought in the belt willing to exchange the belt for suspenders so that I would have everything ready for when I I use the suit again. He asked me how much I paid for the belt when I told him the the shirt was 80 so I figured the belt was 80 he told me no way. The belt at most would be 45.00 dollars the shirt was 95.00 and the belt was 45.00 for a total of 140.00 plus tax so 158.20. I pulled up my banking information and showed him it was exactly 160.00 I thought he may have charged me 80 for each and no tax because I purchased the suit for 700 plus tax back A year ago. He looked at my phone that showed 160 came out to them then he started to get upset and quite rude with me. I even showed him the price tag on another shirt the showed the cost was 80.00 yet he still claimed the shirt was 95.00 getting more and more irate and speaking to his wife in their language. I figured I will just take the 45.00 back and write a review in hopes that nobody gets ripped off by these scam artists. If you value your money and your clothing don't bring any of it to these people. If your looking for a reliable and honest tailor or seamstress look on Facebook instead.

I have been in the store 3 times since I bought the suit your absolutely correct. Yes you did do work on one of my daughter's dresses that daughter did like the work done that was a graduation dress. My other daughter took her prom dress there it was red and there was a phone call made right after all the problems with the dress. That's why we found someone else to make the alteration for my other daughters prom dress that we got. As for your claim for alterations none were made. The gentleman told me he would press it at no charge. The even funnier thing is I don't expect people to remember things from a year ago. But I brought the suit in to match it with a shirt just incase you didn't sell that suit anymore.To see what I believe your still selling the same suits. So it's one of those things you should kinda mention and because you mentioned it to a few people. It would just be one of those things that I would tell anyone who's purchasing it that it needs suspenders instead of a belt. I personally think it's rude to talk to someone in another language while you were both clearly speaking to me in English the gentleman and I were first speaking together the the lady started speaking to me in English then to the gentleman in there native tongue. So I thank you kindly for admitting to that. One other thing I would like to say is that you never said anything to me about a custom shirt it was in a package I tried it on and that was it. Nothing custom about that. I will gladly post a video that shows no alterations made to my shirt and that it's not custom. So maybe you should stop lying or is it that your ripping people of like scammers?
I truly appreciate you saying there was alterations made just proves my point about what I was saying about scamming people. You just took money from me for something you did even do.

I had a very good experience at Alliston Tailoring & Alterations!!
I needed many alterations on my wedding dress including a lot of shortening, taking in and shoulder taking in as well as adding a back piece and other alterations!!
I felt extremely comfortable there and the couple were lovely! I know a lot of work was done on my dress and I really appreciate it!!
Considering I was on crutches the first time we went there(my maid of honour & I) they worked around it and my dress looked lovely when it was finished!! The cost for everything done was reasonable too.
I had a lot of compliments about how the dress looked too!!

I went to remake my mother’s wedding dress into my rehearsal dinner dress as a surprise for my parents. The owners of Alliston Tailoring where so helpful and understand and worked with my budget. I highly recommend this place!!
