Very nice team, knowledgeable and helpful. I met initially with Kevin and later with Rob and Jeff. It was my first project which was building a Jeep Liberty engine. They helped me by explaining all details and options to build my headers and fix my cracked cylinder bore. I even called them later while building the engine and they helped me by sending torque specs and other instructions. They did a lot of work to my engine; changed valve seats, guides etc.. surfaced the heads, valve service job, changed cylinder bore sleeve and more..The engine fired right up and runs very smoothly. Prices were very fair. I really recommend them.

The guys at Alecs do an incredible job at both. I've always been a backyard enthusiast, but when it comes to the heavy duty lifting of an engines internals, I've never felt confident. Rob, Jeff and the entire team took the time to research my build, find the right parts and cam specs for my desired build. Once they did that, they educated me and took me through the entire process.

They built me an Oldsmobile 455 long block with mostly stock bottom end and rebuilt heads, all new components. The thing is an absolute monster.

Most recently I dropped off heads from a 502 Ramjet crate motor. After inspection issues were found and all areas were addressed. Additionally I had them research and install some perfomance upgrades. They were also mindful of my budget. Turnaround time was on point and they went above and beyond the initial work order without charging me additional fees. I have used them before on another build and was very satisfied. These guys do amazing work! My hemi dropped a valve seat, had the team at Alec's rebuild both my cylinder heads. The quote was 100% accurate, work was done quickly and the valve seats were knurled into the head to prevent this happening again. Top notch service from start to finish! Thanks guys!

Rob, Kevin and their crew are top-notch! Been going there since 2016. Their customer service is excellent and head rebuild work is high quality. Had one head rebuilt there which my mechanic messed up but Alec’s fixed it after taking it back. Just had another head done 2 months ago which needed more work and cost than I expected but Rob found a way to lower the cost without compromising the rebuild. My dealings with Alec’s leaves me feeling that they really make an effort to keep their customers happy!
